Really enjoyed this Mexican restaurant just outside the Wilson gate. The rice was overcooked, but everything else was great. Love the queso. Try the quesadilla tuya. Tuesday drink special is $0.99 margaritas.

The food is great, I had the quesadilla tuya this time, which was overflowing with grilled chicken, and I enjoyed it very much. The serving sizes are large so I always have to get a to go box! My son and his family come to visit me every couple of weeks and we usually come here for dinner, they really like it too. Prices are reasonable as well.

It’s been a while since I’ve been back in restaurants. They are open for in-person dining. I enjoyed my lunch. The service was fast and the food was good. I got plenty of food for a good price. I definitely left full. I suggest giving this place a try.

2019: I’ve tried every Mexican restaurant within a 50-mile radius and this is hands-down the best Mexican food. It’s always fast, it’s always hot, they never get my order wrong, and tastes phenomenal.
2023: Coming back to leave an updated review and picture. The food here is PHENOMENAL. Everything was on point from the sweet tea, to the salsa, queso, rice, beans, and the main dish as well (fajita quesadilla). Even the limes were the juiciest limes I’ve ever had. Server was so sweet and attentive. 2 billion thumbs up.

I ordered the pollo chipotle. Asked for extra cheese on top and to add steak all of which is supposed to be cut up. Originally 12$ on the menu. My total came out to over 20$. I’m trying to figure out since when did less then 3 tablespoons of cheese cost 9$ I could understand if I had gotten the steak but that didn’t happen either. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with customer service. I will never be going back here and wouldn’t suggest anyone to ever go. The customer service is absolute trash. I mean come on look the chicken isn’t even cut just like sliced into half way.

Just be aware that everything on the menu that the restaurant uploaded on here is 2 to 3 dollars more expensive, it would be best to update that. We ordered a combo that they said was 7.50, but they charged us 10 dollars when we got to the restaurant. Also, our entrees say 16.99 on the menu, but they charged 18.99. I came in and waited a while, then another family came in and he helped them first. When I told him I ordered over the phone, he said “Oh I was wondering why he ordered all that food for one person.” Rude, and honestly none of his business. This was our fifth time coming, it’s never been great but this is definitely our last. Oh, and “Sprinkled with white cheese” means covered with a leathery, dry cheese quesadilla as shown in the photo.

Have eaten here a couple times now and the food was good both times, service was good the first time but was lacking a little the second time. Waited to be seated for a few minutes and no one came to seat us so we just went and sat down and finally after a few more minutes brought us the menu and got our drink orders from my perspective they did not seem too busy but maybe they were. I had the Fajita nachos and they were delicious along with a watermelon margarita which was good also.

Eat local! This is a good Mexican restaurant with a broad menu, with beer and cocktails. They can handle large groups, and there was a TV showing the World Cup. I think it is a family business. Table wait times were great, and everything was smooth for our group of eight.
