I’ve eaten take out once from here and it was good. That was 2 years ago. I can in with my daughter for the first time and wow the margarita , cheese dip , salsa , chicken, rice and cheese, just wow. Chicken is so tender and flavored just right. My new favorite place.

First time stopping by while in the area and was wanting Mexican food. Service was quick, and food was hot. Good chips and salsa!

Mi Casita might be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. My band came here yesterday because we were playing at the new wedding venue nearby. It was close so we went. Service was great, they immediately took our order, got drinks coming and put out their delicious salsa. When The waitress first came back to take our order I told her I needed a few minutes (that never happens to me) because the menu was so extensive I just couldn’t decide on something!! Well, eventually I went with the papa rellena, because I had never heard of the dish before. It was a baked potato, covered in fajita grilled chicken (beef was also an option) onions, peppers, and so much gooey awesome cheese! It was AMAZING! Never had anything like it and I’m a fan! The equal experience was had by the rest of the band. They were raving about their meals and I got thanked all night for suggesting it. I’ll be back next time we’re nearby for sure!!

Ordered for pickup. 3 shrimp, dry beef and chicken. Even the rice with cheese sauce was dry. For $40, I expect better. We’ll keep going to Eltapatio in Gadsden.

It was good! Service was good! Just wasn’t as good as I remembered it being. Portions was smaller & was different. But all in all great place to eat!

One year ago I wrote a review about how I always loved it here…. Today I take that back and discourage anyone from entering this facility and eating the food. My husband ordered take out for dinner, paid around $60 total in which started out all wrong with the forgotten cheese dip he had to go back in for, $18 Combo Fajitas (honestly the best thing we received even though they forgot the tortillas), $13 Mexican Lasagna (couldn’t even eat because the smell of the rotten or maybe it was just cleaner soaked lettuce was so overwhelming it made you sick opening the container), and $16 Botana Chivitos which included cheese quesadilla (1/2 small tortilla), beef nachos (4 soggy chips on the bottom of the plate) chicken fingers (2 chicken tenders cut in half and refried) cheese sticks (2 hard and cold) and stuffed jalapeno peppers (2 over fried), guacamole de la casa in our house dressing (1000 Island dressing) plus bonus smoked link sausage(3pc cold), Chicken wrap (1 wrap cut in half with extra dry old chicken). This was by far the absolute worse meal I have ever been served. So very very disappointed. We will never go back here thanks to this one experience.

Mi Casita in Glencoe is where I will go from now on. The staff here in Ohatchee were rude. Greg at mi casita glencoe is wonderful and makes the atmosphere pleasurable.

2022: Ordered the Papa – stuffed potato. Potato was cooked perfectly, I chose the steak & it was thinly sliced & fresh with onions & cheese. Came with a salad with thick guacamole, sour cream, and pico de Gallo. Excellent food.
2020: Ordered the ceviche. Pretty presentation, excellent flavor $8.95, small plate.
2021: love the thin chips & the salsa has actually gotten much better. For TexMex, it’s actually pretty good. One of the few places you can get grilled cactus too – which is excellent when cut up and added to meals.
