Open at my unusual lunch time of 3pm. I stopped by on a road trip as a better alternative to Taco Bell and boy was I glad to find them! The carne asada plate I ordered came out swiftly and was absolutely delicious! Reasonable prices too. Music was on full blast. Looks like it would be a great party atmosphere

The food was really good I got me a plate of a la diabla shrimp I really recommend it and also their beans and rice are really good. I just didn’t like how they didn’t follow up with their prices. I was charged 60$+ for two plates and sodas? 23$ for shrimp plate and enchiladas was supposed to be 18$. Just be careful and write down and calculate before leaving to go and pay.

A one star is a lot if I can give less i would! First of all keep a menu with you after you order your food because for some odd reason the prices change after you order. 2nd make sure to ask before you ask for water or a simple things like a chile you will be charged extra! and lastly if you don’t want your picture on there wall don’t leave a bad review and don’t say anything to the owner because if not you will become famous in Livingston last time I ever go here. You’ll have a nicer experience at the Foster Farms Cafe ! Your welcome.

I met here with a few family members to celebrate a bday( my first time here) …my first impression , first , it was super loud with music and crowded but it’s a small place. I was expecting more of a restaurant style and this seemed more like a taqueria but a nice one lol but it was 2 days before Halloween and saw most of the workers dressed up and there were horror figures standing near the restrooms (Jason, Michael Myers, & Freddy) that was so cool , I thought ! Later I realized it was karaoke night , for those of u who look for places that do it. We chose to sit in the outside / covered area so we could hear our conversations. Ok, the food& drinks are excellent ! Overall, I did enjoy the night and the place …I actually can’t stop thinking about it …I would go bk . They have a great assortment of micheladas (oh , I think they only have beer drinks, sangrias & mimosas ) but the micheladas were the bomb ! The food is great ( lots of mariscos , seafood) .

It’s was packed this night… waitresses were very confused, seem to me as if they was very new and not trained or prepared very well they got our orders wrong twice too much going on, but it was lit & fun. My ratings are for that day. It doesn’t mean I won’t go back. Food to me was on point.

First thing to note: parking is behind the entrance of the restaurant. It is a small parking lot, but I found a place to park thankfully.
I visited this restaurant after work as a way to unwind on a Friday night. The interior is beautifully decorated and the outdoor space also has walls so insects stay outside. When I arrived, there was a musical trio performing live inside and music being played from massive speakers outside. So, this is not the ideal place to dine in quietly.
I dined inside to enjoy the live music. I ordered “Empanadas de Cameron” and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I would describe it as something like a pan fried ravioli with bits of shrimp, cheese, and some sauce (salsa verde?) inside it. The sauce it came with was incredible as well. It sort of tasted like the special sauce you make by combining ketchup and mayonnaise. It’s a little spicy, but it had my preferred level of spice.
My waitress, Sophia, was very kind and patient with me. She was happy to hear my requests despite the high volume of the music drowning out my soft-spoken voice. I truly appreciated her help.

This is a good typical Mexican restaurant. There seasoning of their meats and their traditional rice and beans are good. I had the green sauce burrito that was humungous. The green sauce was not spicy and had a good flavor to it. There seafood selection is also really good. I would definitely go back for their bloody marys.
