Pros: service was outstanding! Victor was super attentive and welcoming. Salsa and rice were good I would say average good
Cons: flavorless food and poor presentation. The 3 Shrimps we got tasted burnt w not even salt, and steak was dry and not tasty at all. Brisket Flautas: dry w very little meat, I wouldn’t even trust it was brisket bc it was very little meat and for all I know it could’ve been carnitas. Honestly chilis egg rolls are way more tasteful 🙁
Prices are high for the quality of the food.

We were excited to try this place. We were seated immediately and given chips and salsa. The salsa was very good but not hot. If you want hotter salsa, just ask and they will bring the orange colored salsa, which made me sweat and drinks water, it was soooo good!
Fernando was our server and he was outstanding. We ordered drinks & food and they came out in a very reasonable time. The chicken flautas were very small. We would not order these again. The rice and bean portions were also less than what we were used to but I’m not there to fill up on them. The chicken and fish tacos were very good.
The seating is very intimate and is close to other customers. We will definitely be back and will come more hungry next time to try the fajitas and deserts.

I was trying to get into my regular spot at Salt Grass in Cedar Hill but of course it was full. So, I decided to try a new spot! Saw Mi Casa out of my side view and stopped to try it. My fist time visiting and it was superb! The salsa and chips were delicious! My tortilla soup was 7 out of 10! My Fajitas Waxahachie were good – not a huge fan of the sausage but it’s not terrible. I had wine which was buttery. The atmosphere and music was great and service was top tier!! Love my waiter – he was always checking in on me. Overall, I give this place a 8 out of 10!! Drawbacks were the chicken in the soup (needs to be more tender) and loose the sausage on the fajitas (it takes away from the dish). Otherwise, it’s a great local stop!!

Victor was our server and he treated us very well. As well as the rest of the staff. Warm chips and very flavorful salsa as we sat down. Their top shelf margarita was a great refreshing drink and you could actually taste booze in it. They were also quick to provide a cushion to sit on as one side is chairs the other are benches. So bonus points for that. The chille relleno was nice size and tasted great. We even commented on how great the rice tasted. The grande burrito was good size a little guac sour cream and rice made for a nice meal. Want to try chicken next time. And there will be a next time. Can’t wait to go back.

I loved this place! What can I say, it was such an amazing experience. We don’t live in Midlothian but we had drove past it a couple of times and it did not disappoint. The place was clean, great customer service, very friendly and timely service. The food was a go for me because they offer dairy and gluten free which was like such an accommodating option for me. Our waiter was kind and always stopping by to check in. I truly recommend this place because it’s become a part of my list. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud not to quiet in between I’d say and not to crowded.

I was thrilled they had gluten free options cooked in a separate part of the kitchen so my family members with celiac disease could safely eat here. Our service was fantastic and I was thankful the staff appeared trained on how to safely manage food allergies. I would be EXTRA thrilled if they could sell bags of individually wrapped, gluten free, cross contamination safe tortilla chips so we could eat the chips and salsa there. My family is missing chips and salsa from Mexican restaurants since they are usually cooked in the same oil as wheat products or not kept cross contamination free. Overall, I was very impressed with the food and service at Mi Casa!

We were seated promptly. Chips and salsa came out immediately. I had a skinny marg and the Hawaiian fajitas- they were so good! Chicken tortilla soup for my mother was huge! Everything came out hot. Will definitely visit again.

Outstanding vegetarian fajitas. Wide variety of vegetables including Pineapple, an interesting and tasty addition to the mix.

We’ve lived in Midlothian for 20+ years and been to most, if not all, restaurants.
Mi Casa has very well became our favorite tonight.
Food is awesome. Amanda (server) is awesome.
We could easily become regulars here.
