I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and had an amazing experience! I ordered churros, and they were absolutely delicious—fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The service was also excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere was beautiful with a lovely design that made the place feel warm and inviting. Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit and will definitely come back. Highly recommended! ✨

I have been twice and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. The employees work hard, are helpful, and friendly.
They are a little slower/inattentive than they should be, especially when not as busy. I also deducted a star from atmosphere because my last visit had flies so bad we were having to wave one hand the entire time we were eating
I would still recommend it, it appears clean and hopefully the fly situation was a fluke. The first visit was fine.
The food is delicious, everything has been cooked well. The pitcher of margaritas was enough for 2 each for the group of 5 my first visit. I’m not a mayonnaise person, but even I liked the street corn – it was seasoned very well (I didn’t take a picture of it ).
Both dishes I had contained pineapple, which I loved. One was obvious – in the picture I ordered from by the register and visible on the plate. The 2nd dish I don’t recall it being in the description, but it was a great surprise for me!

This Mexican restaurant had some interesting menu items, including a few daily specials on a sign as you come in.
I decided to try one of those. The potato fajitas! It sounded interesting, and it was.
Toped with chicken and all the things fajitas come with.
I liked how the restaurant was decorated and the table tops were unique.

There has been a lot of chatter about this restaurant opening at this location out on Union Highway.
The first positive is that the restaurant is located out on a beautiful country road rather than in town, and there is plenty of parking.
Next, when entering the restaurant we were greeted right away with a genuine greeting. They had just opened a few days before we stopped by, yet the greeting was not over done. The decor is typical of a family owned Mexican Grill, and the music was expected.
However when we sat down we discovered that the tables are made with resin with treasures embedded into each top. To our delight our table had different types of garden seeds all labeled. These folks managed to bring together the American country and history and blended it with the Mexican touches. Brilliant.
Next the food was fantastic. Literally, the best queso we have had in South Carolina. My husband’s tacos came with a wonderful broth.
One thing I really pay attention to is the guacamole when I review a Mexican restaurant. To many times I have received guacamole that has been sitting and has turned brown and tastes funny, or worse is clearly NOT made on location as it tastes like the junk out of a tub. I need to be CLEAR.. the guacamole at this restaurant is perfect. It was FRESH, tasted wonderful and had the perfect texture.
Open 7 days a week, so a place to visit after church!!!!

Came here from Union to try it out. It took a few minutes to get service because the waiter was having to help a customer, but once they came it was great service!! I had the Chilaquiles because it’s my favorite meal and it’s how I judge a Mexican restaurant. It was wonderful!! The flavors were spot on!! The beans were terrific as well!! Beans are always a hit and miss at restaurants but they know how to make them here. I will definitely be making the 20 min trip back here again to eat!!

Our waitress was not great. We was very specific on no beans , just rice and ended up with all beans. Then she asked if there is anything we need after bringing our food. I asked for extra napkins. She then walks to the front , stands at the cash register for 5 minutes twirling her thumbs and didn’t ever bring us our napkins. The people next to us had about a party of 8 , she got someone else to come to that table to confirm one of their orders because she was “worried” to get it wrong but yet she got ours wrong and never brought napkins after asking if there was anything else we need. I would understand if it was packed out but there was probably only 4 tables occupied total.

Came here with my mother for breakfast and waited 30 minutes for cold food. The food was good, but not what I ordered. This isn’t the only instance of this happening. I once came with my father and sister and they got my order wrong and then came back and gave me food with flies in it. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I personally will never come back.

Great staff.. The restaurant was very clean.. I love the local memorabilia on the tables. Ours had old fishing lures and black and white pictures under the glass top. The food was delicious we order Texas fajitas for two. It out in the country away from all the fast pace of the city. I highly recommend stopping in to relax and enjoy the salsa and chips if nothing else. Everything about this restaurant is great❤️❤️❤️ Hope to go back soon.
