Came for lunch, and I was surprised it wasn’t busy. I’m so glad we took the chance anyway. Absolutely, everything was awesome! From the service to the chips and salsa to the last bite, so dang good! Brother-in-law had the brisket chimichanga with queso topping. He said it was amazing and tender. The chimi was huge. My husband got the triple meat (steak, chicken & shrimp) fajitas. They came out sizzling and steaming for the longest time I’ve ever witnessed fajitas come out! The different meats were bursting with flavor. I had the fish tacos with Mahi Mahi. Again, packed with flavor with the red cabbage, pico de gallo, avocado, and their own mayo type sauce. I forgot the name, sorry. It complemented the fish well. Our dishes came with rice and beans. The rice is very well made. Like I stated before, there was lots of flavor all around. They give you three bean options: black, charro, and refried. Each of us got the charro. Best damn charro beans I’ve ever had in a restaurant! Meaty bacon pieces cooked just right with chilies and onions. Last but not least, the salsas! They serve red roasted salsa with your chips. Nice little kick and amazing flavor. I requested green salsa with our meal. It’s also amazing. They have what looks to be a large bar selection. We didn’t order any alcohol but maybe next time we’ll see about getting some drinks. We will be back and tell as many friends as we can. It was a much better experience than the previous restaurant in the same location.

The chips were warm and perfectly crispy, the beans (which I normally don’t eat) were amazing and the steak and chicken tacos were seasoned very well! I really enjoyed my experience here!

This location in Krum, Texas is located in what appears to be a shopping center for food!! The employees are good, chips and salsa are different & delicious, food is good and adult beverages are on point! This isn’t Mig’s, but their food is completely their own. Mi Cantina is a change of pace and we enjoy eating there! Go ahead and give them a try, I bet you’ll got back!

Our food was delicious and hot! I love that they give you a choice of beans. They also have regular or white queso. We had the white and it was awesome! I do think the prices are a little on the high side but I I know that food is expensive right now. We will definitely be back!

There’s no wait for a table bc no one eats there. Chicken burrito taste like they left the chicken on the counter a few hours before cooking it. A shot of jack was $11 and some change.

First visit to Mi Cantina left a bit to be desired, (understandable for a new establishment) but we decided to give it another try and are glad we did! since opening week the food and service have been fantastic. The food is hard to beat and you don’t even have to leave Krum.

Went at around 12pm. Only 2 servers available. 1 who could handle orders for a lunch crowd and one who could not which was the one we had. Food was terrible. They need to invest in bet ingredients and have an older person who knows how to cook authentic Mexican food to show the staff. Will not be returning.
