If you are looking for a slightly different take on the usual Mexican restaurant with a clean and casual atmosphere, Mi Camino Real might be for you. From the heavily cilantro infused salsa to the fajitas with that little extra something, be ready for a nice surprise.

We live very close to this restaurant it used to be called The Lazy Donkey and we have always enjoyed going to this restaurant. I do know they’ve had some backlash lately but I can say out of the entire time they’ve been open we probably eat there or do take out at least three times a month and we love Ricardo!!!!!!!

He is very professional and the very few times they have gotten something wrong with our order he promptly makes it right. I mean as many times as we’ve ate there there are bound to be some mistakes and some owners would just brush it off but he always takes care of his customers.

Our go to order will ALWAYS be their steak tacos with steak & cheese only.

Their salsa IS AMAZING!!!!!

100% recommend!

We headed here for dinner since we were tired and starving. We placed our order and were served tortilla chips with salsa instantaneously. We were positive that since we were starving, the food would taste delicious – Never knew mexican food could be so pathetic!

The food came out in about 7 minutes but did not look, smell or taste good. To make the food flavorful, we asked for hot sauce but were served hot salsa and charged 0.75 cents for it – no big deal.

The mexican rice, burritos, and bean paste were bland, dry, devoid of flavor/smell, and looked & tasted awful. There was hardly any cheese on our bean paste. We regretted coming here, every bite we had. The only thing that was truly edible was salsa & chips.

We were in a hurry to get out the door since we were exhausted and embarrassed of our nightmare of eating out tonight.
We shall not return.

Excellent service! I had the tacos de pastor, and the flavor was excellent. Just the right amount of sweet and the pork was so tender. Don’t mind the photo, I’d already torn through half my plate. They serve the onions and cilantro in a dish on the side, which is a nice touch. And the margaritas are only $3 and change on Sunday evening.

THEY DONT HAVE DRINK SPECIALS!! The drinks are $6.95! Which is fine but please don’t say you have a special when the drinks are regular price!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant. If they had more attentive and friendly service, it would be absolutely perfect.

Watching for drinks, being more visible, a tad more personal interaction makes eating out a joy instead of just getting food.
