Went here last weekend after hearing a few people mention it, and it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The place has a relaxed vibe and didn’t feel rushed, which I liked. I ordered mofongo with pork and it was flavorful without being too heavy. Portions were fair for the price, and everything came out hot. The staff was polite and checked in a couple times, but not in an annoying way. Music was playing in the background and added to the atmosphere without being loud. It’s not fancy, but it feels authentic and comfortable. I’d say it’s a good spot if you’re in the mood for Puerto Rican food and want something dependable. I’d come back to try a few more dishes next time.

Food was amazing and fresh (we went in the morning), very fulfilling and great portions for the price ($13.99 for the plate). The atmosphere was a bit dark inside but there’s sufficient seating inside and staff was incredibly nice!

Mi Antojito is the kind of place that feels like it wants you there. The interior is warm, well-lit, and inviting—cozy yet open, with plenty of seating to accommodate both individuals and groups. I came in mid-morning and chose to sit alone, just to soak in the golden light and the friendly, welcoming faces of the staff. It felt peaceful and safe, like a moment of stillness in a busy world.

The food? It tasted like something my mother would make—if my mother had the magic touch of feeding not just one person, but a whole community. It was plentiful, delicious, and almost too beautiful to eat. The home-cooked appearance stirred something childlike in me, filling me with warmth and wonder even before I took the first bite. And every bite after that lived up to the promise.

I believe this is a Puerto Rican restaurant, and if you speak Spanish, you’ll feel especially at home. But even without it, the grace, humility, and quiet joy of the people here speak volumes. There’s a peaceful goodness in the way they serve you—genuine, grounded, and full of heart.

Thank you, Mi Antojito, for making my day feel brighter, fuller, and just a little more like home.

Good experience at this location. Hot bar was filled with hot choices and even more options in the bakery/ pastry area. The cook to order other food as well. Ladies filling orders were nice and fast pace. Food was decent

First and last time coming here. I got my son and I some potato balls, alcapuria and turned overs pizza flavored. They didn’t have barely any meat and pizza sauce inside at all.

I had to check this place out again but I tried their rice and meat. I was actually surprised that it tasted good. I would come again for this dish.

Rude service, overpriced food, no professionalism

I’m from Boston and just bought a house here in Springfield. I was excited to try local spots, but this place was a huge disappointment. The alcapurria was good, but everything else was unacceptable.

I ordered a small American chop suey for $7.80 and was given the tiniest bowl you’d use for beans. When I questioned it, the woman behind the counter snapped back with a nasty, arrogant attitude instead of fixing the problem. Another customer also complained about the same issue and was rudely dismissed. Clearly, this is a pattern.

I spent around $30 total, and instead of simply giving me the right portion, she brushed me off with a refund. As a new Springfield resident, this left a terrible first impression. Management seriously needs to fix their prices and actually post prices address the rude, unprofessional service.
I don’t mind paying more than average for good food but I need a decent portion and to be treated with respect. No hello no goodbye no thank you! None of that! Won’t be getting my hard earned money.
