We came for dinner after a visit to Longwood, looking for a place to eat nearby.
Mezzaluna is an unassuming restaurant wonderful hospitality and even tastier food!
Ordered the Detroit style with chicken, bacon, and fig jam and it was delightful with rich pops of flavor! Loved the crunch on the edge of the pizza. Oh and the caprese salad, fresh basil, tomatoes and mozzarella drizzled with balsamic always the perfect flavor profiles.
Only regret… not having room for dessert!
Would definitely recommend!

We wanted to check out this restaurant for a while having heard a lot of good things about them. It is one of those smaller less known locations. Just a few tables and less space in general. But 100% worth it. Everybody was very friendly and their pizzas are just great. We tested the “funny guy” and the “Italiano”.

Everything from making a reservation to having a quick dinner was flawless! Detroit pizza was excellent! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside crust. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Add a toping and hot honey! I will be craving it. Salads with fresh ingredients. Regular pizza is ok. Kids liked it. Will definitely return for Detroit pie.

Lived up to its growing, glowing reputation. My wife and I were lucky to grab a table at this tiny space on a Saturday evening and had a wonderful experience. The staff are delightful and helpful. The hard-working kitchen produces amazing results. We chose the New Yorker (pepperoni, sausage, whipped ricotta) in New York style, and, even with all the toppings, the slices stood up and the flavor was amazing. Also enjoyed the caprese skewer and arugala salad to start.
I definitely encourage people to try this KSQ gem. And, if you can’t get a seat, do not hesitate to get a pizza to go.

Had a great night celebrating our anniversary. Highly recommend the Detroit style and the unique New York – call ahead to reserve the Detroit style. Inside is tiny, definitely reserve for a weekend! It is a byob – will be back.

Mezzaluna has the absolute best pizza around! I love the different options for crust and also that it’s not floppy, oversaturated in grease and sauce, the entire layer of cheese doesn’t pull off with the first bite. Fresh ingredients that aren’t just piled on. I have tried almost every style they offer and I honestly can’t pick a favorite anymore. They are all so unique and delicious! I can’t say enough nice things about the staff either. Ben and Samantha are the just the sweetest. You can tell that they love what they do and they treat their employees like family.
We are so lucky to have them in our community!
The only downside that I can come up with is that they have killed my desire to eat pizza from anywhere else. They hooked me from the first bite❤️

This was my first but for sure will not be my last trip to Mezzaluna KSQ!
Every single person working was friendly and smiling. We got an upside down 16″ and this amazing Detroit style pizza the pineapple express way. Both were fantastic! I’ve never had a detroit style pizza and I’m not really the type to venture outside the norm too much ith the pineapple express, but I’m so glad I did! Everything about the pizza was phenomenal. The combination was excellent and thecrispy cheese layer baked around the crust was a real show stopper! Go get one!

Excellent pizza! Seriously my favorite place for pizza, period. The crew here really knows what they’re doing – delicious food, an exciting menu, great people. They are popular – ordering ahead, esp. on the weekend helps beat the rush, but they are worth the wait. My personal favorite pies are the Gettin’ Figgy With It and Unique New York. They also have some tasty vegan options and the rotating monthly specials are always fun (if you see the Reuban come back, it’s so good). The Detroit style is also delicious – crispy, cheesy, heavy – and the tavern style for a flatter smaller-bite option that’s still tasty and great for groups.

Best pizza around! And I mean around and around – this is some of the most delicious, elevated pizza you will find anywhere. I highly recommend the Unique New York! Try New York style, Detroit for a crispy cheesy deeper pie, or tavern style for flatter crust and maximum flavor on top still. SO. GOOD.
