Four Lefts
Stick to the pizza and you will be good. Service is good. Calamari could not be bit through almost choked. Pasta and sauce mediocre.
Not a real focaccia either. Wife could not eat Grillata Misto de Pesce, left it in plate, they didn’t notice. Left a good tip regardless.
I hope this post helps them up their game. Not going back.

This was the first time I came to their new location as I have always visited their old location that was by young street. And I love this new site. It’s upscale and the food and drinks are amazing. Love the ambiance and servers Are very kind. The chicken parm was on point and I love their pizza and my all time favourite tiramisu. It’s a must try.

While I appreciate the ambiance and the general reputation of Mezza Notte, I feel compelled to share some recent experiences that, regrettably, fell short of expectations. On a recent visit, my companion and I both ordered the Costola Di Vitello. My companion’s dish appeared to be prepared as one would anticipate, featuring the classic meat and bone. However, the steak I received was, to my disappointment, almost entirely gristle and fat, rendering it virtually inedible. Despite leaving the vast majority of the dish untouched, there was no inquiry from our server regarding why it remained uneaten. The silence on this matter, particularly given the obvious state of the plate, was quite notable and left a rather distinct impression.
This incident, unfortunately, compounded a previous less-than-ideal seating arrangement during another visit. On that occasion, we were seated at what felt like a rather unappealing table, despite the restaurant being approximately two-thirds empty. It brought to mind a scene from ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ specifically “The Ugly Section” (Season 10, Episode 7), and certainly detracted from the overall enjoyment of the evening.
While I had hoped for a more consistent and satisfying experience, these instances have collectively left a “bad taste” in my mouth, figuratively speaking, given I barely had a chance to try my main course. Regrettably, based on these recent experiences, I do not foresee a return to Mezza Notte.

Service was slow in beginning- had to chase down our server to order main meal
Gnocchi was very good but the pollo limone was bland as well as the orrechiette. The orrechiette was also over cooked with white edges indicating possibly not fresh pasta.
High prices (in comparison to other restaurants of same caliber) are not justified for the quality of the food.

We had a party of 9 and the food and service was outstanding. The atmosphere and service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend Mezza Note if you’re looking for great Italian cuisine, as they knocked it out of the park from the entrees to the main dishes and desserts. We will definitely be making a comeback. We had an amazing time.

Amazing service! Authentic Italian flavors! The sauce for the escargot is I highly recommend asking for the specials! They make lasagna fresh in house and they give good portions. The flavors for everything is really well done! Even the calamari is flaky and their sauces are perfect! Their home made tiramisu is a good portion, very light and fluffy! Highly recommend trying! Their risotto is really good, same with their bruschetta. The place is very quaint and clean. Washrooms are downstairs. You can’t go wrong with ordering anything!

We had a gift certificate for $100. When we checked out, we were told that it didn’t cover the wine. Our food total was $81. When we asked for a pizza to go, we were flatly refused. The server Andrii was excellent though.
