Pretty decent. Quick service. Things taste pretty fresh and have flavour. No complaint for portion size. Falafels were really good.

Always a great experience here. Food is extremely fresh and flavorful. Lots of variety and customization. Generous portions. Employees are welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant is pretty clean (compared to say Chipotle, a guac and chicken minefield). Highly recommend if in the mood for healthy and quick mediterranean food.

Everything is so colorful and appetizing. Smells good, Such a great place for a healthy quick meal. Everything is fresh and seems to be made in house. 2nd time eating here and it was better than the first. I make my own and just add everything. Got chicken fajitas protein and was fresh and tasty. Baklava and chocolate chip cookies were on point. Keep up the great job. I wish I had one closer to home as this is an hour away. Staff was friendly and attentive, it’s nice to have a healthy meal served promptly.

Had a worst experience at Mezeh today. The portion size is a joke. Attached picture is a junior bowl worth $9.48 after tax. We discussed our concern with the person who attended us, she made a face and took us to the manager who was having lunch at a table next to us. We witnessed the rudest manager who told us’ this is what you get’ as we have new rules . After that both ladies proceeded to give us bad stares and made me and my kids extremely uncomfortable. We had to leave our lunch and just leave the place. So the managers name was Danielle, or if your supervisor is reading this please know that you are horrible at your job and you need to do better. And please check on what people you hire and if this is truly mezeh policy for a junior bowl.

Friendly staff, quick and efficient service and very clean.
The only negative would be that the music is too loud because of the acoustics from a concrete building.
Loved my ‘build your own’ bowl.
The server was very attentive to my gluten-free and vegan issues.

Food is good. But the portion size is too small especially compared with other stores or other similar Mediterranean grill restaurants. Even when you request extra amount for either sides or proteins, they (typically one or two certain staff) just don’t want to feed you nicely. This also applies to online orders. There are a few staff that make you feel unwelcome as well especially when you request extra amount for sides (because it’s free..? )

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. Got a small (kids size) bowl and felt well fed. The flavors are very good! This is the first Mediterranean place where I can try all of the unique flavors without getting 5 different meals. The couscous, pickled onions, and yogurt sauce are a must! The chocolate chip cookie was soft but lacked flavor. 2 of us ate for $18. Will definitely come again!

The falafel here is a must—so fresh and flavorful! This spot feels like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, where you can customize your rice bowl or wrap with all your favorite toppings. The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the environment is clean and welcoming. It’s the perfect place for a satisfying lunch!

I decided to stop in today because I like Mezeh over Cava, but this experience may have changed that. At least at this location. The portion sizes are noticeably smaller than any other location. I got 6 little pieces of chicken and looked at the lady and said “cmon, may I please have a little more.” She gave me legitimately 1 more. The when we got to the tomatoes, no exaggeration I got 3 slices. I wish I took a picture. I went into a meeting today at 8:30am and got out at 1:28pm and was absolutely starving so I didn’t continue to go back and forth with her. The worst part is, SHE WAS ON HER CELL PHONE TALKING TO SOMEONE THE ENTIRE TIME!
So if you’re in Charlottesville, just go to Cava. Mezeh here needs to get their act together. For $18 I could’ve gotten double meat at Cava.

Terrific! My only gripes are minor. It’s not a lot of food for the high price, for some items. The lamb for the gyros–although being less processed than what you might expect for lamb gyro meat–is too greasy, and I’m not the kind of person to call everything too greasy.
I’m also not at all clear about the costs and possibility of ordering side orders of the various salads. It’s not clear if there even is an option to buy a side if it’s not pita bread.
Again, these complaints are minor. Everything I’ve tried so far has been terrific overall.
