UPDATE: We went to the restaurant to speak to the manager. And he was amazing. Gave us complete refund for the food and three gift cards of free bowls. Amazing guy he said straight forward sorry and said this will not happen again. So a 5* for them now.

Horrible we ordered something they gave us something else and this not for the first time they did it. I’ll never order from them again. Pictures are attached

I had a long morning and this was the first meal I had all day and it was worth it. Mezeh never disappoints. I have ordered from this location 2x on door dash and was absolutely satisfied each time. This was the first time I ate at this location in person and the experience was great. If i could give 10 stars I would. The staff was attentive, food was amazing as usual, and the atmosphere was comforting. 10/10 recommend everyone come here.

I really like Jon a lot! He is very kind and respectful while servicing me and my family, and he is like that all of the time. He never has a bad attitude and always explains to me if there is an extra charge. He’s so soft-spoken and polite I love it! You don’t come across people like that very often. When I come here and Jon isn’t here, everyone else is a bit rude and unpleasant. Jon is truly amazing, and I mean that sincerely. If you’re reading this review, ask for Jon to serve your food. He is a gem!

We tried the lamb shawarma – it was tasty, but the meat felt more stewed than grilled, and the portion was quite small. Overall, the idea is good, and the flavors were nice

The server, Jon, from the Woodbridge, VA location is wonderful. Every time I see him, I get excited because his customer service is outstanding. He is kind, professional, and his mannerisms are superb. I truly can’t say enough kind things about him—he consistently makes the experience enjoyable and welcoming.

Second visit August 5 2023. Not as good as the first. Food still good and I will go again. I find the chicken not that tasty and the beef notbtasty. But not that bad. Will try again.

Experienced my first visit to a Mezah Sun Apr 2. Let’s say my first of many. Ordered a Build Your Own Bowl with chicken , rice, and all the fixin’s available. It was pretty darn good. Tasty. Plenty of food. Had to take home half the bowl. The service was very good. The facilities were clean. Highly recommended ☆☆☆☆. thumbs-up . Dine in. Good value.

I can’t begin how life changing it was to finally get a taste of this establishment! To begin the service and its atmosphere was top tier! And the manager gave the absolute best bowl of my life! He was very patient and recommended me so many amazing sauces which is what made my bowl so tasty! 10/10 would come here again!

This location used to be a Bobby Flay’s Burgers, and at that time, service was lousy, and the bathroom was shockingly gross. New establishment, and I was pleasantly surprised. The men’s bathroom was spotless. The place gives off Middle Eastern Mediterranean meets Chipotle vibes. There are plenty of options for every palate.

Food is good. Workers are not friendly which makes me not want to come here ever again (It was my first time). ON TOP OF THAT, my grandma almost chocked on a piece of plastic that was in the hummus. I showed the lady who served us waiting for at least an apology (or for her to call her manager), all she did was take the piece of plastic out of the plate and left. I should have taken a picture of it but I was so shocked that I just run to let the worker know. And since she took it I have no picture of it… she looked mad as if she didn’t believe us. I think they have cameras here, whoever is in charge can go to the cameras and check that my grandma literally had to take the plastic out of her throat. She didn’t want to finish the rest because she was scared to find something else.
Even though food was good, I’m giving one star because this was a really shocking experience.

We stopped at Potomac mills on our way home to avoid the traffic jam on I-95 and chose to have a quick bite at Mezeh. I had eaten at Mezeh in DC and was quite impressed with the fresh food ingredients. Love the way the food can be customized per your liking. Having said that, I guess today was my bad day, was stuck in traffic for hours, damaged my car tire & got cardboard box pieces in the food. Service was good, he offered to make another bowl but I denied. So the rating is just for the food experience, if there was no cardboard piece then the rating would have been a 4.

Response to the Mezeh owner/Manager as i don’t see any Reply option- The only thing that can be done is train your employees to admit the mistake and not tell the customer “we don’t use that colored boxes and I don’t know where it came from” It sounded like I put the cardboard box piece in my food on purpose to get more food for the price of 1. I could have accepted a fresh bowl when he offered to make another one but I denied. Seems the cardboard box strip picked the color from the eggplant-Baba Ganoush. Or it could be from the brown boxes that I see in one of the pics on the right side of the kitchen
