June 2025- I had a delicious meal! I had a great food experience by building my own bowl. I love the food. The place is clean. Staff is nice, pleasant , professional and I also love the Pomegrante, mango, turmeric, berry type, mixed ice cold fountain beverages. * all types *.And dessert cookies! Yum!

I love this place and this food… the only thing that’s bad is not all of the servers know what has in the food… for example if you ask “is this spicy? / does this have parsley?” They don’t know for sure… but doesn’t matter too much… is just a comment!

I have only visited mezeh a few time and never before at this location- I’m getting to be a fan. Today my visit was at nearly Noon and the line was short, the service was very helpful and friendly- almost professional actually. By that I mean they were very polite but not able to improvise much as I asked a few questions about ingredients.
The first thing I noticed was it’s a little intimidating to order if you don’t know what is on the other side of the glass (and a line is bearing down behind you) but today I didn’t have that pressure.
The flavors! Mint and spice and savory and fresh tastes all come together on a bed of texture and crunch. I like it. I can’t wait to see what to try next.
I also love the fountain drink selection and value

The restaurant clean. Unfortunately the ketyuces were wild and browning. The server who called herself Olivia was short and impatient with my husband who has never been to mezzeh, when he was trying to understand the menu. There were absolutely no customers in the restaurant at that time. We were there just before eleven am. Even though we were asked if we were ordering for here or to go, we were served our lunch in paper bowls. At the end of our meal, we looked for a trashcan but didn’t see one near the drink area and given that we used glassware for our beverages and metal utensils, we left our dishes on the table. As we were walking out the door the server said there’s a trash can right there. I was frustrated and asked this server why she had not served our in person meal and pointed to the dishes. Her response was that I would have to move my plates to the same area as the trash anyway. My husband cleaned up the table and we left. WOW. We will not be back.

The staff are not polite or friendly. I bought drinks for myself and then poured it into two glasses with ice half n half. The lady started arguing with me that I am taking two drinks, which I wasn’t. Very rude. I tried to explain to her but her English wasn’t very good to understand what I was trying to convey. If the manager there is reading this, please coach your staff to be flexible and friendly, especially if they can’t have a smile on their faces

Don’t sleep on this place! I come to the area every Sunday and I’ve never entered this place until today! So much regrets. This place is going to be my regular place to eat at on Sundays!
The food is simply the *bomb*! Sooo much flavors, always so fresh, there are so many options! The price is reasonable too. Definitely my new favorite!

Food is colourful, fresh and tasty! I really like that they have reusable tableware for dining-in. Service was impersonal but I’d expect that at any line-service restaurant (I’ve never become buddies with a sandwich artist!).

The customer service representatives at the Market Square Mezah located on South Dakota Ave N.E Washington D.C were amazing. They all greeted me and provided wonderful customer service. I can officially say this is my favorite Mezah.
