We drove an hour to visit Mezcalina Taverna and it did not disappoint! We try not to have high hopes when visiting Mexican restaurants in Italy because they typically disappoint, but not this one. This is truly a little slice of Mexico and they honor authentic Mexican food/flavors even down to their delicious corn tortillas. Every food item we tried was amazing! My Mexican husband ordered a second round of tacos because he loved them so much. I tried the michelada and Tommy’s margarita which were both incredible. I can’t wait to visit again!

This place is incredible. We drove to Verona last year from Zagreb and absolutely loved it. We loved it so much we did it again this year…not for the Italian food, but for the Mexican food. We have lived in many places, including San Diego. The tacos here rival any you will find anywhere. The Michelada was spicy and delicious. We had the birria quesadilla to start, carnitas and birria tacos, and churros for dessert with a Modelo Eapecial for good measure. Amazing food, great service, and the owner is a cooks dude.

Proper Mexican food in this cozy place outside of city center of Verona. Very little place, only had 3 tables plus a bar (which was full). We got there around 6 when the kitchen opened and had quesadilla and burrito. All very food and tasted authentic. Dogs allowed. Would return!

Incredibly nice staff with amazing food and drinks. The Location is also really nice and you can sit inside as well as outside. I can 100% recommend going there. Especially the Aperol Spritz is amazing!
