Good food, great service and reasonable prices. Please do your tastebuds a favor and have the octopus taco. Its soooo good!!! We also had the fish taco, chicken rice bowl and shrimp/chicken bowl. The watermelon Fresca drink was tasty and refreshing. The food came pretty quickly. Clean restaurant. Mary was the server and she was a delight. Very friendly and observant. Gabby, the bartender was also cool. Definitely give this place a try!

Frustrating place. Some things are amazing and then there are lots of small frustrating things that just irk you. The tacos were okay. Lots of flavor, but the tortillas were grilled so much they broke when you tried to pick them up.

The nachos were easily some of the best we’ve ever had, but they come with Jalapeños and we were told that we could not order them without. No jalapeños is a pretty standard restaurant exception.

The most frustrating thing was the prices. The nachos were $14 and could easily feed three people but two tacos were $12. My excellent watermelon Margherita was $12 but my wife’s smallest glass of Sangria I’ve ever seen was $10.

Service was okay. Server seemed confused and slightly out of it, but very friendly. Its the beach and workers are in demand so I can’t fault them for that. There’s just enough to like here that the issues make it frustrsting.

Outside does not look inviting. But you must go in. The chef did an amazing job during the bacon festival. Best out of all restaurants IMO. Wife and I will be back to try regular menu.

Cool chairs. Kind of a weird, anodyne decor but bartenders were super friendly. Margaritas were awesome. Guacamole was lacking lime juice and Cilantro but the chips were great.

This place was excellent!
We went several times during our week in Dewey and everything was great! The nachos were huge and layered properly. We tried chicken, fish and shrimp tacos and they were all delicious. They even had broccoli tacos for a vegetarian member of my family. And the drinks….perfect. The staff was friendly and the place was tidy. We loved it!

The margarita was fabulous as were the queso and chips but the tacos were the star of show. Pork on the left, battered cod.on the right. The cod was incredible.

Nice, if-you’re-looking-for-a-unique Mexican-style dinner. Seated promptly and given water immediately (a plus for spicy dinners). Tacos were gourmet-style. We are not risk-takers for meals and apparently we were taking a risk here…2 of 4 of us loved it. The other two not so much as it was a little off the beaten path which we normally take! Tacos were small for the price but delicious. Wings were spicy. Loved the guacamole! Appreciated the waiting staffs politeness and overall service.

We loved the service and food at MezCali. The bartender took time to explain the extensive list of agave based spirits and even made us a tasting and provided recommendations on how/where can buy our own bottles of our favorites. The owner clearly knows agave. Regarding the food- what we had was simply amazing. Fresh, hot, and generous portions. They were out of a few items (cheese for one!!) so unfortunately we didn’t get to try exactly what we wanted, but what we did have was brilliant. I’ll take whatever they give me. Hope to visit again soon.

It has a nice
Outside porch. I ordered a Baja taco. The filling was delicious the taco , well reminds me of
Shoe leather, not
Crispy or pliable. We had nachos, they were thick (which is not
Bad) but one second later and they would have been burned. And
A
Sangria white mostly
Ice cubes and a squirt of wine with 80 % soda. So not
Worth the $. Oh and NO hot sauce on that place! Still shaking my head.
