5 stars all around! I went to Mezcal tonight for the first time, as my husband wanted to try it out for his birthday. We used to eat at Pablo’s when it was opened and enjoyed the food there so I was sure this place wouldn’t disappoint. We had a large group but the staff was completely patient and kind to all of us, as it was a packed house. The hostess was mindful to put us at a table where we wouldn’t be totally cramped. Everything on the menu looked delicious and our friends raved that my husband made a good decision to choose this place, as they had never been either. Our server, Jake, was attentive and quick. He also went along with my friends’ dad jokes instead of brushing him off lol. By the end of the night, the owner(?) brought out a round of tequila shots to our table. He didn’t have to do that but that sealed the deal on our wonderful experience here. Although my husband and I live an hour away from this location, we will make it a point to celebrate more often here and recommend to our other friends to try it out. Thank you Mezcal for the lovely evening!

We had an incredible lunch today. The food was delicious. We had the queso, birria tacos, quesadilla, California burrito, the churros, and the tostada and salsa. Everything was perfect, including the server! They were attentive but gave space to enjoy the food. I also ordered the carne asada for someone who couldn’t attend and when we got home, it was still amazing. We would wholeheartedly recommend going here. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff were warm and inviting. We can’t wait to go back!

Came on a Friday night in February with another couple. We put our name in and had about 30 min wait so went for a drink. We were sat in the booths past the bar. Lighting is very bright, I thought it was a cafeteria or something.
Ordered drinks and the chips were brought out (these are crisp tortillas that you break). Salsa was very good.
Ordered Duck mole – not too spicy but was good. My wife had the Chili Colorado. Tender and well seasoned.
It is a bit loud and lighting not so great, but food and service were pleasant.

Corn ribs were outstanding. Basically street corn cut into quarters. A bit messy to eat but very delicious. Duck mole was excellent. Chile relleno was average. Grandad margarita was excellent. Guacamole was average.

Mezcal Spirit of Oaxaca is a must visit while in Ferdinanda Beach. Conveniently in the heart of all the shops and walking area. It’s family-owned, and the original owner still works there every day — such a passionate, kind, and genuine man. You can feel the love in the food and the atmosphere. Everything was delicious, and the experience felt truly authentic.

One of our favorites, the food and drinks are consistently good. I like seeing the owner walking around taking pride in the place. We like the restaurant now and we liked it when it was Pablo’s. The winter margarita is delish!

Pablo’s has gone upscale! Even better location, food up a notch and thankfully the drinks are as good as ever. Grandpa’s margarita is a must, legendary.

Had a fantastic time at Mezcal in Amelia Island! The vibe was warm with artistic wall paintings that added so much character to the place. We sat by the window with a nice street view — perfect for people-watching and soaking in the local charm.

The service was friendly, and we were immediately brought fresh tortilla chips and salsa on the house — such a nice touch! The guacamole was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and their cocktails were top-notch. I highly recommend trying one of their margaritas!

We also ordered a shrimp salad, and wow — it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Perfectly cooked shrimp on a bed of crisp, fresh greens — light, refreshing, and delicious.

Overall, Mezcal is a perfect spot for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

Went to Mezcal as a celebration for son getting engaged. Even though they do not take reservations, they did promise a table for 10…..turned out to be perfect! Service was wonderful, food was great with huge portions, and atmosphere was upscale.

There are no vegan dishes on the menu….but no worries! Fajitas can e made veggie and the California burrito too! Sorry, no pictures of our food…we were starving.
