We enjoy the Hampton location and enjoyed this dining experience as well. The menu is smaller, but plentiful to choose from. We enjoyed Texas fajitas, Texas margarita and Chimichanga dinner. The salsa has a unique flavor that enjoyed for a change from the typical salsa. The service was impeccable. They were busy and we only saw two servers around 3-4pm, but they were not lacking on service. Overall, an enjoyable experience at the new location across from Patrick Henry Mall in the old Applebee’s location. It was clean and appealing inside. The Texas margarita was strong btw!

This building has been completely redone from its former Applebees era to a well done, modern, elegant, and romantic atmosphere. Really gorgeous on the inside. The staff was attentive but not annoyingly so. Very nice and friendly. The food was very good too. I got the Texas fajitas. A good amount of meat, not filled with just vegetables. Very generous portions, even extra tortillas. It was so nice that the music wasn’t too loud. It added to the ambiance but did not make it hard to talk to one another. I enjoyed it more than salsas, and Jose tequilas. My favorite used to be Juan’s but they’ve changed so much, it’s not as enjoyable. I’d definitely return here. I hope the word gets out about them and more people come.

This hidden gem offers a delightful dining experience. The food was impeccable, and the restaurant exudes a clean, well-lit ambiance. The bar is perfectly stocked, and the wine choices are extensive. The margaritas are absolutely perfect. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the food service is swift. If you’re seeking exceptional Mexican cuisine and delectable margaritas, this place is the place to be.

Came here for lunch and was surprised. Cute and trendy interior and service was friendly. Ordered the chilaquiles which left a bit to be desired. The edd wasn’t over easy and it was served with pico de gallo versus the pickled onions. You did have a choice of red or green sauce. And honestly hands down for the best tres leches ive had to date thus far in VA.

The Restaurant is in an old Applebee’s, so unfortunately that means a terrible layout lol, and some tight seating.
The service was a little bit slow, especially compared to the norm as far as Mexican Restaurants go.
The food was typical Mexican deliciousness. And they had a bit of a different menu which was cool. I got the texas rice, which was very good. Steak, chicken and shrimp mixed in rice topped with Queso cheese……so good.

Shame on you Mezcal. I dined in and ate in the restaurant and sat at a regular table. They charged me 6.60 for a delivery fee. Nowhere on the menu was there a notice there would be a fee to deliver food to the table, while sitting at the table, while dining in and eating at the restaurant. This is ridiculous and wrong. Hidden fees. Check your bill. SHAME ON YOU MEZCAL, SHAME. Know better and do better. Because of this, I will choose a different Mexican restaurant to support.

A girlfriend and I tried this place out for the first time and it was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were brought out within a decent time, and were delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We can’t wait to go back! The music is also low enough that you can have a conversation!

Everything was perfect! The staff were so pleasant to chat with. Marissa the GM was awesome to talk to. Love that this restaurant is local and the interior makes you feel that it should belong in DC or a major city. The ambiance isn’t what I expected at all. It was clean, organized and overall well put together. The food was delicious! Try the choriqueso with their chips.
