Mezcal Grill: Your Premier Destination for Authentic Mexican …
Reviews
FOOD: The food was delicious! It was fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great authentic Mex!
A bonus is the salsa bar with the complimetary chips and salsa. It was excellent.
SERVICE: Excellent service. We were greated promptly and the cashier was very friendly. We were given time to order and were directed to the salsa bar for complimentary chips and salsa with several salsa options ranging from tart, hot, mild and one with a guacamole base. All were excellent.
ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere was excellent and made us rethink the to-go order, but we were pressed for time. It was bright, clean, well lit, the decor fit the theme of the restaurant and there were many indoor and outdoor seating options. A great spot to grub n chill. Perhaps imbibe in a cerveza or dos.
Parking was a little weird as most of the parking connected to the restaurant was full so I parked in an open spot close to a nearby business/store .
The facility was clean and spacious . And the music was nice .
The staff were super friendly and inviting.
I ordered the 3 street tacos meal : Asada, Pastor and Carnitas . The presentation was nice but each taco lacked flavor . They came with a redish brown sauce but I added salsa verde and extra lime juice but the flavor was still lacking . I really wanted tacos so I ate all three.
I also ordered chicken soup thinking it was a small cup but it was a huge bowl . The broth lacked flavor , the chicken didn’t looked boiled completely but the corn and veggies were cooked perfectly . I added a lot of different elements to add flavor to the soup but I couldn’t get it to my liking until I took it home , cooked the chicken more and add more seasons .
everything was really affordable !
Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience but I can be a stickler for great street tacos .
One of the best California eateries I’ve been to. Period.
We love Mexican cuisine. We try plenty spots 1-2 times a week. From local all the way to LA, Arizona, Texas and even Florida. Mezcal is by far the best.
Everything we try is flavor packed. Cooked/prepped in house to perfection. Flavors are elevated beyond anything we’ve tried. NOTHING is canned or processed. The food is so good, we’ve explored parts of the menu we’ve never thought to try before.
On top of that, the young ladies are genuinely amazing. Very friendly. And the restaurant is beautifully built and decorated.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
