*Updated post after going twice for dinner. I really didnt want to make a bad review after enjoying the breakfast there. So i went twice to dinner before making this review. I will never eat there again for lunch or dinner, it was not good at all. Food did come fast but it was flavorless and bland. I was embarrassed for taking my friends there and hyping the restaurant up, just for all of us to be disappointed twice.i would not recommend going to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Below was my original post and picture from breakfast.

*Old post* Amazing breakfast options and low prices.
I will be returning for lunch and dinner soon.

Incredible family style restaurant; Meyer’s excels at it all!

We went with a party of 6 to Meyer’s while visiting my Aunt in Milwaukee. She recommended Meyers to us, and I am so glad that she did!

Atmosphere: We found immediate parking. The building was nice, clean and airy. Our seating was comfortable and the table was large, which I enjoy versus cramped spaces where all dishes, silverware and drinks have no place to be. It wasn’t noisy and we were able to easily converse while we enjoyed our meals. 5/5

Service: Our service at Meyer’s was phenomenal! Our server, Jay, was so much fun, informative and I could tell genuinely cared about our dining. He made excellent recommendations (3 of us went with the Thai Chicken Soup and we all loved it), as well as menu questions. He rocks! 5/5

Food: I ordered the Shrimp, Scallop and vegetable pasta. Others at the table ordered meatloaf, turkey dinner, a hamburger and fries and the Pork Steak. We all highly enjoyed our meals; I for one was very pleased with how much shrimp and scallops were in my pasta and how well they were cooked (perfect scallops and shrimp, generous fresh portions of vegetables). We also got the cheese curds for an appetizer, and those were perfectly done as well. You could go here so many times and try something new; the menu is HUGE! 5/5

Price: The price for the portions you get and the quality of food is tough to match. I rate this a high 5/5 stars.

It is hard to find a restaurant with this family style flair, large menu, generous portions and great prices. I highly recommend Meyer’s for dinner!

Never usually have an issue with the food but this last visit was awful. I ordered the 3 cheese panini (pictured) and what I received was a quesadilla type thing with naan bread. “Panini” comes with a side of aioli (pictured). The side was comically small and added to the poor quality of food. My partner got a triple decker turkey club and the bread was not toasted. First time I’ve see non toasted bread in a club. This was the most unsatisfying meal I’ve had at Meyers.

Came for the Mothers Day brunch buffet—WOW!! $44 adults, $22 for kids and rows and rows of a variety of homemade dishes. Worth EVERY penny. Seating is comfortable and service was perfect. We came with a larger party of 8 and everyone was so happy to eat what they wanted. Carving station and dessert tables as well.

Meyer’s has been a staple in my extended family for years and years. I haven’t been in many years and decided I’d try someplace new for a fish fry.

Their Friday Fish Fry Specials had over 12 types of fish to choose from it was fantastic! From baked cod to bluegill to flounder to shrimps! The variety ensures there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer the crispy, golden texture of fried fish or the lighter, healthier option of baked fish.

A generous amount of rye bread and butter accompanied the potato salad, coleslaw and vegetables as our sides.

The food was good. The fish was cooked well. Fries were crispy. The tartar sauce had a different flavor to it and I did not like it. The batter on the fried fish was crispy and delicious. The amounts of the sides were generous as well.

They had festive decorations displayed and our waiter could not have been more attentive. Establishment looked clean and kept up for how old it is. I did notice the average age of the customer as being 50+ on a Friday evening. Just noticing. There was a decent crowd, but no wait.

Outstanding service, didn’t have to wait despite a pretty packed house and parking lot. Phenomenal food, especially the chicken fideo soup!

Ate there for Thanksgiving meal. Will not eat there again. Had reservations for 3 an for 4pm. They stop serving at 5. Lots of empty tables and booths. We were told the booth was ready but it was only set for 2. When extra service was set, the glass was missing. The booth was the worst. One side was against the wall next to kitchen and the table was not movable. The seat was also sunk down so you were sitting much lower than the table. You could barely get in to sit down. The opposite side had plenty of room. I asked the manager for another table because I was very claustrophobic there and he refused to give us a different table. He said I was assigned the booth at time of reservation and that was that. I adamantly said I could not sit there. He said I couldn’t get my $60 deposit back either. Then he said I could sit at the bar which I refused. He then offered the banquet hall which I accepted because I’d eaten there before. He said he wasn’t sure there was anything available and would get back to me. In the meantime we rearranged our seating and decided to stay in the booth but it was a tight fit. The food was mediocre. Sweet potatoes were watery, turkey was like it was sliced from a loaf. Tip of 22% was added which was more than the service was worth.

Best broasted chicken around. We used to dine there until the over use of Fabuloso for cleaning the restroom. The odor is so strong one can taste it as soon as one walks through the door. We do carry out now because the odor fills the whole dining area. Funny thing is management knows about it. True story, check it out.

I took my mom here for an early Mother’s Day meal.

We shared a couple of big pretzels that were amazing.

Next up was some wonderful chicken kluski soup. Delicious .

The waitress was exceptional … friendly, efficient, and one of the better servers I’ve encountered. You can tell she’d been working here for a while.

This is a banquet hall, and I remember coming here for my father-in-law’s father’s funeral…so it can serve a large group if necessary.

On this day, however, I enjoyed some polish sausage and coke slaw. Mom had the steak sandwich , which by the looks of it made me a bit envious. Next time. I loved my lunch, but I definitely want to have some of that steak sandwich myself.

Outstanding stop for lunch at reasonable prices with a friendly and semi -elegant atmosphere with Milwaukee written all over it. Ahhh…the Cream City! Go Bucks!!!

Service snd food were outstanding! It was basically having a Thanksgiving meal for a funeral. Servers very friendly and no having to flag them down for anything. Food was a 10 out of 10. Our family will definitely eat there when in the area.
