Amazing mexican food, authentic and reminds me of the california tacos and doesnt get better than this especially here in TN. Definitely a place to stop by and recommended. As people always say, if you walk into an Asian restaurant and see Asians cooking/eating then it must be good. The same can be said here, if you see Mexicans/latin people eating here, it’s definitely good.
Got the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, intestine tacos, beef tacos, barbacoa tacos and spicy beef tacos. My absolute favorite are the shrimp, fish and beef intestine tacos. Horchata is also amazing, not too sweet like some places just right.

We tried Mexico Tipico tonight. Great tasting food. Quick service. Order at the counter, I suggest ready over the menu before you go in. The menu is a picture board, but the food is delicious.
You grab your drinks and go sit down and in a few minutes your meal is served. It was really busy inside and lots of take out orders I also saw. We will definitely be back.

I have eaten here for lunch quite a few times over the past years, and I have never been disappointed. The food is fantastic, and it’s quite a bit more authentic than most Mexican restaurants in Murfreesboro.
Bonus points for the traditional art on the tables, booths, and walls.

Came here on Good Friday, April 18 around 8pm. Drive into parking lot next to a motel. It was packed. Lots of work trucks there so you know this is a great place for the everyday people. A hidden gem. Fast service! Order at the counter and seat yourself. Comfy booths in rows. It feels very authentic. How would I know, I’m just a white girl. The Birria tacos were amazing! Never had one before. They are crispy and juicy at the same time. They are also messy and definitely greasy but in a good pizza kind of way. Lots of flavor!

I was excited to try this place and the birria tacos did NOT disappoint. They were awesome! My BIGGEST issue is the restaurant vents were filled to the point of being clogged (see photo), the floors were dirty, the ceiling fans were dirty, etc. The table tops were clean but underneath were crumbs, dirty napkins, straw wrappers, etc. (The chair seats were dirty too) There was no ice in the fountain drink machine, the sprite was out and some of the other flavors too. My son couldn’t eat the wet burrito because there was so much gristle he kept having to spit it out, but I took it to home and my family enjoyed it. Again, the birria tacos were AMAZING and we also enjoyed the queso (the salsa was way to spicy to eat) but if the area the public can see is that filthy… what does the kitchen look like?

Without a doubt the worst Mexican food I have EVER had. Ordered cheese enchiladas and asked for queso sauce on the enchiladas. NO sauce at all, the cheese wasn’t melted at all and although the shell was crisp, the entire plate of food (2 enchiladas, beans and rice) was cool, barely even like warm.

Here to say I finally tried the Birria Queso Tacos I chose to do so at #MexicoTipico and I was NOT disappointed. 10/10 on the tacos, the flavor of the beef (I think it was beef) was so good! It was juicy and tender‼️ The best food is always so MESSY! And I’m here for it .. it’s a hole in the wall, it has a drive through and they sell breakfast .. I’ll be BACK! If you haven’t tried it #murfreesboro GET THERE ‼️
