Probably one of the best family Mexican restaurants in Colorado Springs. The prices are very high compared to the other restaurants, but the service was fantastic. The food is very good too, big portions, and full of flavor!

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! What an amazing experience. We went to a new place for date night and this place exceeded our expectations. Food was AMAZING, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was so homey. We had the sweetest lady come to our table and sing us a song, which meant to much to us. We will be going here for all of our date nights! ❤️

They really did try. I just wouldn’t bother going back. I love trying new Mexican restaurants but tonight was just a hot mess. I ordered the Cheese enchiladas. The Enchilada Deluxe Plate was the only choice that gave me the “cheese” option , along with rice and beans. I chose Charro beans instead of refried.
The hostess comes out with a plate of enchiladas smothered in white queso dip. I questioned my dish and with confusion. I know I didn’t order queso dip enchiladas.
The manager stepped out and asked me what is was I had wanted exactly. I explained that I had wanted just cheese enchiladas and pointed to the menu item. Now, keep in mind. I saw “cheese” as an item, next to beef and chicken. The waitress steps out with an enormous round plate with Refried beans, rice, and two enchiladas smothered and drowning in red juice. Tasted like warm simmered tomato sauce with random green salsa in random spots. I felt like Gordan Ramsey when handed a plate and he’s questioning himself about taking the first bite. Lol. It was very overwhelming to process. A plate of slop. I cut into the enchiladas I saw very little to no cheese. In fact I picked at the piece and realized that my enchiladas were made with FLOUR TORTILLAS!! I was now, really shocked! What mexican makes enchiladas with flour tortillas? Lol. I just couldn’t get myself to go any further. I just accepted that I wasnt going to get a decent plate of Cheese enchiladas , Charlotte beans and rice.
I went ahead and just ate the refried beans and rice with the complimentary chips that were delivered.
The manager stopped by and ask how was everything. I honestly shared with him that the flavor, and enchiladas was horrible. I could not get myself to eat what was served. Who is the chef and how could someone feel so proud of the dish they served out? I AGAIN explained that I only wanted two corn enchiladas, red enchiladas gravy or sauce and YELLOW cheese. The manager turned to the back of the menu and pointed to the bottom right corner to create your combo or something like that. As if I was suppose to know that there was a separate corner and page for normal traditional corn enchiladas with yellow cheese.
He then went to make my two enchiladas and brought them out.
However, it wasn’t a complete plate. I never got my Charro beans and I was stuck eating cold refried beans and rice from a separate old plate while eating hot enchiladas from another plate. (Palm face)
I hope that your dish is yummy and everything you ask for. Mine was certainly far from it.

We came here for a date night in a good mood, excited to try this Mexican restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
We ordered two plates. Before my husband even started eating, there was a long hair on his plate, which the waitress also saw. We returned it, and at that point we tried to move on and still enjoy our night.
While I was eating my plate, I found a very short, thick hair stuck in my grilled green onion. I informed the owner or manager. Instead of handling it professionally, he seemed unhappy and said he was “confused” about where the hair came from and mentioned that the cooks wear hair nets. My hair is very long and blonde, and the hair found was short and thick.
They did bring me a replacement plate, but the manager then said, “Make sure your hair doesn’t touch the plate again,” which felt disrespectful and accusatory. I explained that it was not my hair and asked why he would say that. The conversation ended there.
We paid our full bill and left, but I did not eat the replacement food because I was uncomfortable and disappointed. Finding hair in both of our plates and then being treated as if it was my fault is unacceptable.
This was supposed to be a nice date night, and it ended up being a shame.

It was okay. The servers were nice. The soup pieces are super sized and you have to cut the soup in order to eat it. I wasn’t a fan of the taco salad I ordered because the taco meat reminded me of taco bell.

Service and atmosphere were great. Never had an item that was coated in sour cream as the cheese. The chicken was just okay. They mix the margaritas in advance so if you ask for it frozen, it will be super watered down. My server advised me it’s best to get it on the rocks and let me taste it that way. Fried ice cream was super!

Let me say the food here is absolutely spectacular! Sundays they have a fresh roasted salsa that is absolutely amazing. And well their 32oz margaritas can’t be beat! Food is always great no matter what we get and service is impeccable! I personally love that they serve chips and salsa and bean dip! Their green chile is delightful as well (got it as a side to add to my taco salad.

They deserve 5 stars for sure!! The service was excellent, the food was excellent, our margarita was the bomb!! Nice atmosphere and gift shop. My crazy burrito was so delicious and my husband really liked his shrimp burrito.

WOW! This is the real deal for Mexican food and my new Viva Comida Mexico Real restaurnt. Clean, sanitary, plenty of parking, handicap and ADA accessible too. Terrific fun and happy staff providing exceptional customer service. Adan, my server, was a real gentleman and friendly. I enjoyed the big enchilada dinner plate with one cheese and one beef enchilada – awesome meal. And every meal gets free chips and 2 salsas. 5 Thumbs Up for Mexico Real #2 on Maizeland!
