Came in for a small birthday get together, on a Saturday at around 3pm. We didnt order appetizers but the 2 guys had a mojito they enjoyed.
We ordered our meals and the waitress was attentive but didnt go the extra mile. Overall since there were like 6 meals ordered, feedback was good on food. They go often especially for take out but I personally found it to be nothing special and just your typical run of the mill Mexican.
My meal was a crab enchilada and it was not appealing. It had a very strong odor of fish that I juat couldn’t get past. Since it was a birthday dinner I attended I didnt mention it then. My toddler got some taquitos and a kids meal, but he is picky and hardly ate. Table salsa and chips were again just average. Salsa was watery. The sides with my meal is what I picked at. Lettuce by the rice and beans was brown and soggy. It might be a plate filler but it is not necessary if the food spoke for itself.
I wouldnt choose to go here if I were looking for Mexican or some lunch/dinner in the area. It was somewhat busy and the atmosphere was as if I were not in a Mexican restaurant. My seat had me in direct sunlight from the door. Not an issue I factored here in my review. It wasnt clean clean but there were not dust bunnies. Just the floor and tables (and high chair) were sticky.

Stopped in on a whim while waiting for a nearby nail appointment and would definitely come back. Great service from the moment we walked in. Sat at the bar and our waitress was very attentive and helpful with our order. The mango/strawberry lemonade was delicious, and my partner loved the banana margarita (not my thing, but it worked for him). Street tacos were a good price for the amount of food, and the mango habanero wings were hot and delicious. Very warm and friendly environment (sorry forgot to take pics of the tacos)

The place was crowded at 5pm, so be prepared. Staff was very friendly and polite. The wait time estimate was accurate, told us 35 minutes we were seated in 30. Service was fairly prompt, even with the crowd. Everything was spotless, saw them cleaning the menus, wiping down every page after every use. Food arrived when expected, no long waits that are usual in very busy places. Food was hot and delicious. Prices were reasonable. What more do you expect

Went here for late lunch on a Saturday evening. They were pretty busy. I ordered Pollo Asana and it was delicious. We got 3 amigos too which was great too! The service wasn’t as good as the food. If you’re in Melrose and looking for a decent Mexican restaurant it’s a good place.

This place was amazing! One of the best Mexican restaurants I have tried. My whole family keeps raving about it. I originally found it as a listing on the phantom gourmet website and decided to go based the great reviews and the huge menu. They were able to fit our party of 8 easily. The margaritas were awesome and the chips were warm. We got a wide variety of food and we all loved it. I got the chicken and steak fajitas (and forgot to take a picture) they were so good! Everyone had big portions too which is always a plus. Their rice was great, tasted very fresh. The staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you have not. My family is already planning our next visit lol

Mexico Lindo is incredible! The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Everything tastes like it’s straight from Mexico. The portions are verrrry generous, the margaritas are delicious, and the menu has something for everyone. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re out with friends, on a date, or grabbing takeout. Definitely one of my favorite places in Melrose! I recommend their burritos, combo dishes, and their chicken wings as an app. The chips are also very yummy

Fajitas were delicious and there was plenty of everything. Prices were very reasonable too. It was 6:00 on a Friday, we had a 15 minute wait for a table for 6. It’s a little on the loud side, but could still have a conversation easily.

The definition of an average restaurant. Service was adequate, food is acceptable. It’s a place you go to when you extremely hung over, close to death from starvation and need to get your Mexican fix fast. Definitely not a place you will remember or want to return to.
