Visiting Daytona Beach for the first time and decided to try Mexican City Street Food & Bar — and I’m so glad we did!
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and authentic. Cesar was our waiter, and his customer service was phenomenal. He gave us great recommendations, checked on us consistently, and made the whole experience even better.
The food absolutely did not disappoint. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and well-portioned. We were so impressed that we even ordered extra to take home — that’s how good it was.
If you’re in Daytona Beach, this spot is a must-try. Great food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be back!

Huge portions, tasted great, and came quickly. My wife had the Baja fish and I had the Baja chimichanga and we loved both of them. The beer was cold. The horchata was about as big as my wife. We sat outside and had enough room for a little salsa dancing. Doesn’t get any better than that in my book.

Very authentic amazing flavor and our waiter was attentive and very polite. He suggested the watermelon margarita and it didn’t disappoint. And the serving sizes are massive for a very reasonable price. 10/10 coming back anytime I’m in Daytona.

Decided to try this place very recently as we had not been here before. We were promptly seated and greeted. Server took drink orders and we decided to order the fresh made guacamole dish as our appetizer to share. The chips and salsa were good, but this guacamole was fantastic. Definitely a must try dish. As I looked over a very extensive menu I made the decision to go with the Texas Fajitas ( I’m a fajita fan) and boy was I impressed. The dish arrived sizzling hot and was a massive serving. Loaded with great flavors. It’s a very authentic place and worthy of trying.

The aguas frescas were SO refreshing and flavorful — not watered down, just perfect. You can tell they’re made fresh, and they paired perfectly with our meal.
And we have to give a HUGE shoutout to Cesar! He was beyond attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. He checked on us at the perfect times, made great recommendations, and truly elevated our entire experience. Service like that is rare!
We will definitely be coming back and asking for Cesar again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with incredible service!

My friend and I stopped to grab some food to go. The place smelled awful..and the smell of a cleaning product was over the awful smell. It just gave me a bad headache. I wanted to leave but my friend didn’t so I begrudgingly ordered something. I was surprised by the prices and hoping to get some delicious authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately after waiting over 35 mins for two meals, we left and went to the park to eat and the food was just not it. I got the combo with chicken quesadilla, enchilada and a beef taco. The chicken honestly tasted like it had been cooked a week ago. I couldn’t eat it. The taco wasn’t flavorful at all. The rice was hard and the refried beans were from a can. I was hoping for much better but was really disappointed. Glad I didn’t pay too much. Won’t go back

BEST food we had in the Daytona area on our visit there!!! Chips and chorizo queso were so yummy! The fajitas were bomb and their corn tortillas were made in house. The rest of my party got birria tacos and birria ramen and they said it was all amazing. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Clean environment. All good things to say all around.

Great place, huge portions, and a select Margarita Menu. The food is delicious and as you can see from the pictures you’ll definitely have left overs. Nice atmosphere and room to sit at the bar and eat. The staff was super friendly and on point. Order a pitcher of Margaritas and enjoy! Good prices for the portions you get.
