This place is a little Mexican cafe type restaurant inside a grocery store. The food was amazing and a really good deal I feel. It doesn’t taste as “Americanized” as other places as well. The chips and salsa tasted great and fresh, the hot sauce bottles Ahmad all 3 heat types which was nice, the burritos were generously sized for the price and the tamales were amazing! the Torta bread was perfect too, as was the fillings. Great place to get some decent food and support a local business.

I have been in here many times to buy groceries/snacks but this is my first time eating at the restaurant. The food is very authentic and the prices are affordable with large portions. Service was very fast and informative. The rice could improve in flavor, other than that the food was very good! 5/5

nice vibe, small cafe and small grocery store combined. server very pleasant. interior typically decorated. quality of meat in food undesirable and nasty. i’m sorry this meat was bad. bad meaning nasty chunks of stinky weird meat. Horchata excellent! i think they cash payroll checks. meat made me nauseous.

The food here is usually very good. Today I went there and ordered 5 tamales amongst other things. My other items were good, however they gave me 3 pork tamales that were so burnt and overcooked and hard that they weren’t edible. You could see the char on the hojas.. for a $50 lunch, I’m pretty disappointed and so were my babies.

All-around great eatery! Large Tacos & Tamales $2.50 each. Awesome Complimentary Chips, Salsa & Trio of Sauces. Huge variety of non-alcoholic beverages. Small grocery store opposite of colorful eatery. Server is always right on time. Clean restrooms are available. Friendly atmosphere. Accepts plastic & cash. Open Sundays is a plus! Tip your server.

They size of meals-large! Horchata is good, but I’m pretty sure it’s a mix. Carnitas yummy! Don’t love the lengua here. Shrimp taco was good. Salsa , eh. I love cilantro and there wasn’t enough in it for me. Do you see avocados on my “salad”?! Yum!! You don’t get that everywhere! Second time here and I’ll still come back. It’s good.
