This is a nice restaurant to visit. The food was good. We were seated immediately despite the restaurant being busy on a Friday night. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. The chips were nice and warm. Our meals too longer than usual to come out. So plan accordingly if you’re on a time limit. The only down side to our whole experience was the parking! This restaurant is in a small corner shopping center with other busy businesses in the same lot. I had to ask someone leaving the restaurant if I could have their parking space. My husband circled around until we could pull in to park. Other than the parking issue, It’s a nice place to have good Mexican food. I recommend it.

Very friendly, cozy spot. I had the pleasure of trying this place with my family and it did not disappoint. Prices are decent and affordable, and the service is truly top tier.
They bring out free chips and salsa, and the portions for the meals are huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. It feels like a very family-oriented restaurant, and the interior design gives it a warm, welcoming vibe.
We enjoyed munching on chips and salsa while waiting for our entrées, and the staff was friendly across the board. Highly recommend for a casual family meal.

I’ve been to this place a few times. The atmosphere is very nice, they sometimes play Mexican music. They’re very attentive and offer a variety of Mexican dishes. One thing I do have to admit is that the flavor of the food is lacking, it’s a bit bland for my taste. I ordered chicken tacos one time and the chicken needed more flavor. But that’s my personal opinion. The margaritas are huge and delicious. It’s a bit pricey but the service and free churro chips they offer at the end of your meal is great. Parking can be hard to find sometimes since it’s a small plaza.

Always like coming to this restaurant since it’s close and love their drinks. It’s never super crowded and the service is away quick. Our waiter/waitress is always friendly and they clear our tables of empty plates, which is nice. They serve hot chips and salsa which is always a plus. We ordered the chili relleno plate that comes with rice and beans. I’m not a big rice and beans person so I just ordered a side chicken sope and enjoyed it.

I got the enchilada plate. The enchiladas were just decent but the heroes of that plate were the beans and rice. One of, if not the best beans I’ve had at a restaurant. The hard shell taco was really good too. Good crunch and plenty of cheese!

The last time we went here was when I was a little kid. I kind of forgot about this place and we went here for my birthday! I wanted to try out some of our local businesses ! It looks like they have renovated the whole center which is nice! I was delighted with how nice this place really was! The service is very kind and professional! The atmosphere is nice and homely. The seats are comfy! The prices are more reasonable than other Mexican places like El Cholo. The free chips and salsa was so tasty!! And the main meal was soooo good! I ate everything up! They gave us a free dessert like cinnamon chips and free candy! I think we found ourselves the new family Mexican joint to go to!! We will be back and I’m telling all my friends and family to come ! They deserve the business! And this place is so close to my house! Glad to support local businesses!

So I enjoyed the Mexican food here at this location I had the shrimp enchiladas. They were good I did enjoy them but they were my favorite but overall the restaurant was very nice Old style restaurant. So if that is something you’re looking for then give this place is shot the rice and beans were very good the salsa they give you for your chips is very spicy. Waiter and waitresses were very nice didn’t speak very much but good service. So definitely give this place a shot if you’re in the area

This place has been a great go to spot in La Mirada for years now but unfortunately it has not been consistent lately. You walk in and you are greeted by friendly staff. The interior gives Mexican Family restaurant vibes with traditional paintings and the Copa playing on the TV. My go to Steak Picado was a bit overcooked and lacking some seasoning. My wife ordered the flautas and they were “pretty good.” The guacamole, chips, and salsa has been known to be fire but lately they have been lacking. The service was friendly as always but for being a slow dinner night they did take a while to come around to check for refills and even to pick up and drop off the check. The family behind me ordered what smelled and sounded like a fajita plate and the scent made me wish I ordered that. I will come back and hopefully revise this post and give it a 4 or higher.

The outside of this restaurant is under construction, it’s dusty and dirty but the food was pretty good. The service was fast and friendly. The portion sizes were big, the chips were good, and the soup was surprisingly tasty.
