We were headed to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum in Mansfield on a Sunday. This place was open and we stopped in, hoping that it might have a vegan dish for my daughter. They were able to make the veggie burrito with no cheese, which was great. They served huge portions. I had the tacos especial. Almost more than I could eat, which is saying a lot. Excellent service. The restroom could use a little extra attention.

The food here is absolutely delicious and affordable! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, and you really can’t beat the price for the quality you get. We’ll definitely be back for more.
The only downside was the bathroom. It was very dirty with urine and such all over… if you don’t need the bathroom everything else was great and it’s worth returning too!

Very small town atmosphere. Entrance is a shared entrance with another shop. Dimly lit. Odd decor and smell. No draft, but they do have a small bar and packaged beer. Sat at a table next to a speaker that is blown out lol. Flies buzzing around. Waitress was pleasant.
Chips are somewhat burnt. Salsa is bland. Guacamole seems sort of watered down. I suspect refried beans came from a can.
Poblano has some flavor, about medium spicy. Actually pretty good. Taco has a lot of meat, nicely spiced.
Overall, quaint hole in the wall. If i lived here, I’d probably come back. But driving through, I’d go elsewhere

The best Mexican restaurant in Southwest Missouri. Generous portions, reasonably priced. Unfortunately, when I went there a couple of weeks ago, there was a hand written note on the door saying that they are closed until further notice. They hope to reopen, but don’t know when. I am very saddened to see this happen. I hope they reopen soon.
Edit: As of 9/13/25, I am happy to report that this wonderful restaurant is now open again. The food is even better than before, but the prices are a little higher. However, this is not an issue for me as the food quality increased as well, which I didn’t think was possible, since it was already top notch. If you are in Mansfield and want Mexican food, eat here. You will want to keep coming back.

Local spot for giant margaritas, good lunch and dinner combos, and quick service. Very reasonably priced, tasty, and efficient. Great crispy beef tacos!

Good Mexican food. Casual diner vibes. Nice server. We found good gluten free options on corn tortillas for the celiacs in our group.
The flavors matched or surpassed our Mexican favorites in California.
Note: a few nights a week they have a different menu and serve Chinese food instead!

Good traditional Mexican food.
Atmosphere was a little noisy and dark. Server did very well but she had more tables than she could comfortably handle.
Glad to have this in Mansfield where dining options very limited.

Best food in town! Friendly service and reasonable prices make this a favorite spot for me and my family. They serve the best Chile Rellenos, and the Taco Tuesday deals are amazing!

I ordered from them 10/14/25 as a pick up order. I ordered 3 carnitas tacos, along with chips queso. The food ended up causing me to have food poisoning. Be careful if you order here.
