Mexican Taco Zone is hands down the #1 spot for real Mexican tacos! I’ve been to many places and written plenty of reviews, but this one I truly mean. The food is authentic, the service is amazing, and they keep their tacos genuine every single time. Whenever my clients come from Mexico, we always stop here—it’s become a tradition. Personally, I have to eat here at least twice a month. Much love to this place from Jose. As a Colombian, I can honestly say this is my absolute favorite food

Went this afternoon for a date with my girlfriend and it was AMAZING. We ordered 3 Birria Tacos each and a Chorizo Dorito Bag to share, along with some Jarritos to drink and I was thoroughly impressed.
The tacos were phenomenal all ingredients were fresh and the meat was cooked perfectly, it literally melted in our mouths. The birria sauce was AMAZING so savoury and a bit of sweetness to balance it out. We ordered medium spicy and it did not disappoint, im a huge spicy guy and the medium was a comfortable middle ground that wasn’t overwhelming but still spicy enough for you to feel it.
The dorito bag was the best taco bag I’ve ever had in my life, we had it as mild spicy which was just that, mild. I will definitely get it at a medium or hot next time. The chorizo meat was divine, cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection, the lettuce, pico, and sauce was the perfect blend and exactly what the gold standard of basic toppings you would want.
The service and atmosphere were what you WANT out of an authentic Mexican food spot. A Mexican radio station played with a mix of marriachi, bando, and ranchera, decor was on point but not too over saturated that it felt comical, and the cooks were the nicest people ever, so polite and friendly overall a fantastic experience.
You know it’s gonna be amazing when you can smell the food before you even get in the door.
1000/10 would recommend, definitely coming back every chance we get!

A true hidden gem in the heart of Welland. Hands down the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and you can taste the care in every dish.
The owners are amazing—so friendly and welcoming, and they genuinely remember you every time you come in. The staff is incredibly hardworking and kind, which makes the experience even better.

Phenomenal. Only tried the quesobirria so far, as it’s a personal favourite. The staff is nice, the food is incredibly fresh and full of flavour. Can’t recommend enough. If you like Mexican. You need to come here.

The best tacos in the entire Niagara Region! I tried their traditional tacos and chose the fish option since it was Good Friday, and they were incredible. I will definitely be returning to try more items from their menu. The portion sizes are great for the price you pay. There’s nothing quite like being greeted with a friendly smile; it really makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed, and although it’s a food truck, they’ve added an indoor area for customers to enjoy their meals comfortably. It’s clean and has a laid-back vibe. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Great Mexican flavours at this funky taco stand in Welland. It’s cash only so come prepared. Indoor and outdoor seating. My traditional carnitas tacos with onion and cilantro with a side wedge of lime were generously filled and had a delicious smoky flavour. I’m looking forward to trying more items on the menu!

Mexican Taco Zone is one of my go-to spots, and it never disappoints. I go often and the food is consistently delicious. The traditional tacos are always full of flavour, and my favourites are definitely the steak and shrimp—they’re packed with authentic taste.
We also got the Dorito bag traditional with pork this time, and it was just as good—fun, flavourful, and satisfying.

These are, without a doubt, the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. I’m officially addicted. I drive an hour every week just to get them, and honestly, I’d go every day if my boyfriend would let me.
The carnitas tacos? Absolutely to die for- crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and just bursting with flavor. If you love tacos, do yourself a favor and make the trip- you won’t regret it. We tell everybody to stop here when they are around Welland!!
