Fantastic meal and wonderful service! I got beef and chorizo tacos and they were super flavorful and generously portioned. The meat was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Their salsa is made with lots of flavor with very little heat, but they have several hot salsas if you just ask. The other meals were received were all equally delicious. Overall, this was a really solid meal and our server was simply amazing. We will be back soon!!

From start to finish, our experience at Mexican Rock was absolutely amazing! From the easy parking to the moment we walked out, everything was perfect. The food was served at the ideal temperature, the drinks were outstanding, and the service was exceptional. There were six of us, and every single person shared the same great experience. The restaurant was spotless and well-kept, adding to the overall enjoyment. We honestly wish we could give it ten stars! We highly recommend everyone to try this place. Popped in on a busy Friday night and luckily there was no wait for my Party of 4. It’s mid October so the restaurant was decked in a delightful sight of festive Halloween decor. We were seated quickly and were attended by David for the duration of our visit. The service was fantastic, David checking on us regularly. My husband ordered 4 asada tacos, the kids each got the taco kids meal and I ordered the Chicken taco salad which was super tasty with thick chunks of slow cooked chicken. My only complaint at all was that the salad itself appeared a tad small but surprisingly filled me up perfect. I even left a few bites unfinished so it was the perfect size for dinner. They have a nice outdoor patio with a few scattered portable propane heaters, that we unfortunately did not utilize. Overall, our experience was delightful for wrapping up a Friday afternoon in the mountains. Will definitely be back. Gracias por todo, David!

If you visit Blowing Rock, you must come and try the Mexican food at the Mexican Rock restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the service is excellent, the music is good, the decor is great, the portions are quite generous, and best of all, the food is delicious. The entire staff is very friendly. Santiago served us spectacularly. We will definitely return.

Huge shoutout to SANTIAGO!! Hands down one of the best servers we’ve ever had! He’s incredibly sweet, attentive, and wise beyond his years. You can tell he was raised right and is destined for great things.

This was a great little Mexican place. The bartender was fun and sociable and grey with the frozen margaritas. We tried every flavor and they were all delicious. The rice with chicken and pineapples was very good as well as both the shrimp tacos and the steak and chorizo taco. Definitely worth checking out and I will definitely be back
