Mexican Mariachi Grill is OUR American Dream… From to Saltillo, Mexico to the happy tummys of Ewing New Jersey in 2010, the Ramos family has grown from their first small shop to four with eyes towards more. Originally the idea of Ricardo and his wife Viridiana, they were soon joined by Ricardo’s parents Ricardo Sr. and Eugenia and brother Carlo. Our brand is an extension of our homes, founded on a family legacy of traditional northern Mexican cooking accompanied by a our humble hearts embracing you and welcoming you as you dine with us. We are here every Tuesday and I love it and I love it so much. Taco Tuesday yum yum yummy in my tummy and I love Jess and nick and Naomi that’s fam that’s squad. Whoever’s making my tacos in the back pours all their love and soul into my food. They’ve seen me at my lowest and I thank them for giving me community when I needed it. We had a great experience at Mexican Mariachi Grill, and a big part of that was our server Carlo. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Carlo checked on us at just the right times, kept our drinks filled, and had great menu recommendations. You can tell he really cares about giving people a good experience.

I’m a regular here and Carlo is always amazing and friendly. Tonight Dane was my bartender and he was super accommodating and took great care of us. Food is 10/10! Every time. Love it here!

This place is fantastic! The food and drinks are delicious and fairly priced! Try the pomegranate margarita you won’t be disappointed! Fajitas, burritos, and tacos are all great options. Our server Carlo was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed everything from the moment we walked in! Very clean restaurant with a fun atmosphere and excellent menu! We drive 30 mins to get here as it’s become our favorite Mexican place in NJ! They have a great happy hour menu too!

we are back and it’s been a few months. Wonder how the food and service is going to be this time!
Good news Carlo is still there and as nice as ever. Our server was new to the firm but friendly and courteous.
We ordered the guava margaritas again, and they were as good as before. I ordered the quesabarilla again and my girlfriend tried the Chio Pollo dinner which we haven’t tried yet.
I am pleased to inform you that the quality has NOT gone down!
Food was terrific! Of course the homemade chips and sour salsa was the best and we got some pico de gallo as well.
If you have not tried this place please do so ask for Carlo tell them Joe sent you!

This is our second visit. We were greeted with a smile and ordered a Guava margarita, wow! Amazing flavor! Sweet and a bit of a kick! “That snuck up on us haha!”
We got some water and a basket of their homemade nacho chips and salsa(s)
Carlo, the manager welcomed us and brought out some pico de gallo! So fresh! Definitely made in house.
We ordered the Birria quesadilla which was amazing! Absolutely top with flavor and the dipping “gravy ’ is to die for!
The chicken chimichanga was crisp and packed with tender chicken and topped with a pretty avocado flower.
The queso on both entrees had flavor! Some Mexican restaurants queso has no flavor!
The manager gracefully explained how they season their queso, it makes a huge difference!
Their beans have a distinct flavor you will enjoy! I need to find out how to reproduce at home lol. Definitely not plain at all!
Their chef is from southern mexico so their authenticity is really showing in this sitting.
At the end of this wonderful meal we had hot fresh churros! With some dipping sauces of leche’ Nutella, and chocolate- melt in your mouth!
What a memorable experience! We definitely come back!
A big shout out to Carlo the staff! They were extremely attentive! Above and beyond! 6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Pricy for a Mexican restaurant that really does not feel Mexican.
First- they delivered our food 10 min apart, so we sat there and watched while our other party ate their very bland looking $14 vegetarian nachos.
Hardly any cheese, didn’t look hot at all.
When we got our pork tacos “El Pastor” wasn’t even close.
Warm food, ground beef (not pork chunks) with a wedge of raw pineapple (not grilled) with bland “spanish rice” and bland “beans”
Definitely not worth it.
Will not be back anytime soon.

We had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant from start to finish. The food was amazing—really unique, flavorful, and honestly some of the tastiest Mexican food we’ve had in a while. Everything tasted fresh and well-made, and you could tell a lot of care went into the dishes. One thing we really appreciated is that they offer gluten-free corn tortillas for burritos, tacos, and quesadillas, which was a huge plus and worked perfectly as a substitute.
The wait time was also excellent. We were seated almost immediately after arriving, which made the whole experience even better. The service was wonderful as well—the staff was kind, attentive, and really understood what we needed, which made us feel comfortable and taken care of.
If I had to suggest anything, it would be that for tacos, quesadillas, and burritos, it would be nice if they offered a side of lettuce for a little extra freshness. Also, for people who are dairy-free, there aren’t many options since a lot of dishes include cheese—almost everything our family ordered had cheese in it.
Overall though, this place was fantastic. Great food, fast seating, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again.

I went to Mexican Mariachi grill for dinner with my girls. Our waitress, Hayley, was so sweet and personable. She was on point with everyone’s orders and made the overall experience so much better! and in addition the food was soo good! Will definitely be back! 5 stars!
