Delicious food and very sweet staff! I was looking for authentic food nearby and never even knew how often I drove by this place. The food was delicious and had homemade flavor. Everything was fresh even on a Sunday evening!

The food is good but the price of the items is not on the board and then when you get the receipt it’s also not on the receipt. It definitely feels like the owner takes the liberty to charge you whatever he wants because often times it does not add up to what it should be based on the limited prices that are on the board. It’s basically a very expensive hole in the wall and for the price there’s definitely a better meal to be had elsewhere.

UPDATED: still amazing every time I go! The friendliest service and the food is not over complicated, just fresh ingredients packed with flavor! My favorite is the torta Al pastor. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, though. Authentic Mexican food and a family business— a true HIDDEN GEM!

This place is amazing! Family friendly and hospitable staff, along with the best, authentic homemade food all at a more than reasonable price. Can’t wait to come back again! A true gem of a place.

Great gordita dough and the chicharron was really good. Was more expensive than what the menu stated but definitely delicious.

Way overpriced. Each taco $4 after tax, for a normal size taco option! Smaller size tacos about $3 after tax! Tortas $12 before tax! Confused at reviews. Tacos were okay, not good meat quality, lacked flavor, & dry lime. Only the fresh corn tortillas saved the taco. No wait, no other customers at tables. Basically a hole in the wall with convenience mark up, not for flavor or foodies.

If your looking for Tamales for the holiday season then you should definitely try Mexican Deli in Richland Hills.
They sell them 7 days a week and year round!
The masa was steamy and fresh, meats were spiced just right and they also had rajas con queso (cheese with peppers) which are extremely hard to come by.
They also sell all the great authentic Mexican treats like gorditas, elote, tacos, etc.
The owner was very welcoming and proud of his restaurant and especially his food. Him and his son treated us like family and even gave us a free tamale to try.

I have been at this location several times and never disappoints! I try a different plate every time I go, and all has a good taste! I recently got the red chicken enchiladas & they were amazing! The owner is really kind.

Excellent little take out experience! Authentic Mexican food. Ordered the carnitas tacos and pork burrito with red sauce. Fresh ingredients and wonderful simple flavors.
Had sides of beans and cheese and rice and just reminded me of my Grandma’s cooking. Very comforting.
Owner was very friendly…genuine. If I am ever in Richland Hills area I will be sure to visit again!
