As a gluten-free foodie connoisseur in the Dallas area, I don’t say this lightly, this Mexican restaurant truly impressed me.
This FAMILY-owned Dallas gem has been around for 7 years, and you can feel the pride and intention behind everything they serve.
They use no seed oils, which is incredibly rare in the restaurant world. While it’s not a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, so much is made in-house and they have a dedicated fryer for their tortilla chips, which is huge for anyone eating gluten-free in DFW.
Gluten-free items aren’t marked on the menu, but many dishes are naturally gluten-free or can easily be adapted. The staff was knowledgeable and transparent when walking through safe options.
The house-made corn tortillas and tortilla chips are exceptional. You can taste the difference immediately.
We ordered the chilaquiles and were blown away. They also offer daily specials and an excellent Bodega Brunch that’s worth planning around.

Mexican Bar Company was absolutely amazing. We went to celebrate my birthday and what made the night Amazing was our waitress, Veronica. I really want to make sure she is recognized!! Veronica was the best waitress I’ve ever had. Her personality, her spirit as soon as we were seated just lit up my night. We had a big group of 15 people, and she handled us well and all on her own. Attention to detail, her organization, she kept us moving because we like to talk but she was sweet in everything she did. She took care of my beautiful cake by bringing it out, lit up with candles. Then when it was time to go she boxed everything up gently including the candles and my cake topper. She was absolutely incredible. I loved the atmosphere and drinks also of Mexican bar Company. We will definitely be back. Thank you MBC and thank you Veronica!!!

Mexican Bar Company easily earns a 5-star review! Their street tacos are simply amazing – packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The house-made chips and salsa are fresh and addictive, setting the tone for an incredible meal. The rice and beans that come with it are top-notch and full of taste. Their chicken quesadillas are another standout, with juicy, tender chicken and just the right amount of cheese. The staff is super cool, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Great experience at Mexican Bar Company in Willow! Our server was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed — great customer service. I had the chicken in garlic sauce with rice and plantains, and it was delicious. They even gave us chips and chicharrones to go at no extra charge. Will definitely be back!

For a Sunday brunch, Mexican food is a staple in Texas. But for a slightly more upscale approach, Mexican Bar company provides the staples and classics of Sunday brunch after church, but with elected options and more refined flavors.
Chips and salsa are brought out to everyone, but with pork rinds and a more classy rather than classic salsa.
All the other brunch options bring Mexican flavors to skillets, bowls, and even French toast.

Really great service here, Toni our server was super nice!! Engaging, fun…the energy…FANTASTIC!! The chicharon and chips alobg with salsa roja and verde great compliments to start our meal. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband had the Chile rolleno. For drinks definitelytry the seasonal watermelon margaritas on the rocks!!! Been a minute since we’d been here. Looks like we’ll be coming back to take advantage of some of their happy hr specials!!

Excellent! From the friendly service to the well prepared food, the Mexican Bar Company did a great job keeping our party satisfied. We had a wide variety of food and everyone was very complimentary of their selection. Looking forward to a return trip. Dinner for 2 w/o alcohol about $65 after tip.
