My above average looking wife stopped into Mexicali cantina grill for some lunch and it was fabulous. The owners of the establishment have their entire family working there and run a tight ship! They were so nice to us! We will definitely return and crush some tacos.

What a delight! My family of five visited recently, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff made seating us a breeze, ensuring my son, who uses a wheelchair, was comfortable right away.
The layout is spacious and easy to move around in, which made our dining experience completely stress-free. And last but not least—the food was delicious! A truly inclusive and enjoyable establishment. We will definitely be returning.

For our family it’s always been a go to place for many years.
The friendliness of their employees, the consistency of their delicious menu items and the fun filled ambiance (plus live entertainment on special occasions) never disappoints. Just as important the owner/manager (Roberto) makes it right anytime anyone has a concern or a less than positive dining experience.
Today our host/bartender (Beatrice) was exceptional in the attention received and willingness to make our dining experience a great one. She definitely deserves a bonus.
So, we were back yesterday around 4:30pm for appetisers and margaritas. It just happened to be Thursday when the pitcher of margaritas is a happy hour price ($25) and can’t beat that special.
We ordered a new item (for us as it’s been almost three months since we’ve been back) on the appetisers menu (Nacho Idaho) and it is a home run. We saw Roberto (the owner) and gave him “thumbs up “ on the Nacho Idaho!

Food and drinks were great! Birria tacos were one of the best I had in Mexican restaurants. The margarita boat with 4 different flavors was nice. The cheese enchiladas on the kids menu was more like a cheese quesadilla though.

Very nice place for Mexican food. I love the Slasa and the quesso dip. Overall amazing food and very nice servers. Decent parking space during the dinner time. Could be a little packed during the lunch time due to different stores in the same complex.

I went to this restaurant after a rough day—I had just sprained my ankle and wasn’t in the best mood. But Juan, one of the workers there, completely turned my day around. He was so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. It’s rare to get that level of service anywhere these days. The food was delicious too, but what really stood out was the incredible service. Thank you, Juan, for making my day so much better! I’ll definitely be coming back.

The birria tacos were so good and very filling. Every single bite had flavor but I had to had my guac on it so delish. The margaritas was a let down simply because it felt watered down can’t taste the liquor or strawberry flavor.
