This large and tastefully-decorated restaurant is out of the way, but worth looking for. Plenty of parking. Dine inside, at the bar, or outdoors. Wifi available. Dos Equis and Pacifico beer on tap. Fresh chips served with a tangy salsa. The menu has typical US Mexican food, but look over the gourmet section. I enjoyed the marinated pork. Unfortunately the sides were nothing special. Clean rest rooms. Attentive service.

Hands down this is probably the most authentic Latin restaurant you’ll find. Their Cuisine includes Peruvian Cuban Puerto Rican and Mexican influences. The staff here is beyond friendly and very welcoming. If you’ve never horchata this is the place to try it. I recommend adding two shots of Tito’s vodka. This place has a very Tex-Mex style Ambiance and the artwork is phenomenal. I strongly recommend visiting here when you have a chance.

This place and it’s location may not seem like much on the outside, but wow does it deliver! Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had, cooked to perfection, with outstanding service to match. It is even worth the drive from Baltimore City just to eat here. We all loved the salsa, the tableside guacamole was delicious, and the drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Our dinners varied from veggie fajitas, the pork with rice and beans, tequila shrimp, lettuce wrap chicken tacos, and paella. Literally everything was divine. Not one complaint from any one of us about any aspect of the food or service. As full as we were from that we just had to try the desserts because the food was so on point. We had flan, tres leches, and mexicali fried ice cream. Again, everything was a winner. Absolutely a must go place!

This place is a gem! It is quaint, clean and well run. From our arrival to our departure I have to say the experience was quite pleasurable. We were greeted nicely and seated right away by our server. We took note of the restaurants dinning set up. White table cloths and linen wrapped utensils are always a plus. The server was friendly and served us very well. The food is AMAZING… we took note of the salas that was made from scratch, the chips that was served up alongside was hot, crispy and fresh. I could have stayed all night just eating the salsa and chips. Our meals were well presented and cooked nicely. I can tell whoever prepared the food, he/she or they put a lot of thought into it. These pics I will post is most of what we ordered.. lol. We did eat some of our appetizer before taking a pic. The Camarones Tijuana (appetizer), we had to reposition the bread to hide what we had already ate along with 2 missing shrimp. We definitely will patron this restaurant for years to come. Great jobs guys… you all are doing amazing work!
I almost forgot to mention the drinks we had. They both were made perfectly. Me and my hubby fought over which drink we wanted. Throughout we just drank both!

Traveled from Georgia to see my boyfriend. After walking through downtown, we visited Tournament City Games and had a bite to eat at Mexicali Cantina. The staff was so nice! They brought out a dish of ice water for our puppy and when we asked for a side of shredded chicken, they gave us a whole plateful. She had an amazing day and so did we. The enchiladas and chimichangas were so good

Food was not as described on the menu. People were upset and argumentative when I try to explain that this is not what I ordered. They took it back in front of exact same thing again not what I ordered. Three people for dinner and none of the food was correct. Funny thing was is no one seem to care. Definitely not worth the trouble. The picture is supposed to be fried corn cakes

Everything about our experience was 11/10. We got sat immediately and almost instantly afterwards chips, salsa and waters were brought to the table. The taco salads were fantastic! I got grilled chicken and added avocado (not realizing it came with guacamole!) and my husband got beef. My son loved his burrito! We dug into our salads so quick that even I forgot to take a photo!

A very pleasant surprise away from the crowds on Market street. I’m a salmon fan and the stuffed salmon was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and quick to refill water glasses and our chips and salsa.
