Want to start off by saying the staff were friendly and I liked the ambience of the restaurant, however there was some issues communicating. We asked what came on the beef burrito, the cashier said meat cheese and rice and when we got home we realized there was no rice at all and the burrito was covered in what tasted like a pasta sauce which wasn’t what we were told was on the burrito. On my quesadilla I did request no tomato no lettuce but when I opened to check it there was only chicken no sauce no cheese. However I want to end off with saying the cream cheese jalapeño poppers were great and the chips and salsa as well. As a first time customer I would say I was a little disappointed though I don’t think it was intentional on their part. Meal cost was 22$ for my partner and I.

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ATHENS TN!!! From the staff to the restaurant to the food, this place has been the best place to get Mexican food for as long as I can remember. If you are a bigger eater I suggest getting the Bira Pizza it’s huge and delicious and wings are the best

They put cheese on the food I asked for no cheese. Im lactose. And i left a tip not knowing. The prices in athens for the taco salad cost more than the one in sweetwater. I prefer sweetwater location hands down.

Usually have no problem but picked up a to go order last night and it was wrong . I called the store and they want me to bring it back in order to put me down for a remake. I’ll be bring it this am to show it was made wrong. And honestly want nothing but a refund . To want me to get my baby out for a mistake that they made and to assume after not eating last night that’d I want Mexican today. I have plans to eat somewhere else today with my mom. Unless they can put my name down for future order I just want a refund since I’m already having to go out of my way first thing this am to bring them this food

I’m not really sure what I expected when I found MexiWing II on google, however, i must have had some expectations because this place was full of surprises.
We pulled in, and were unsure if we were going to a motor lodge or a Mexican restaurant. We decided 852 google users couldn’t be wrong and went ahead and got a table.
First of all, the salsa was canned tomato sauce with green flakes in it. We tried doctoring it up with the condiments available, but there was no hope for it. Instead we ordered the bean dip and chunky guacamole. The bean dip arrived quickly, however it was refried beans in a bowl covered in queso dip. My partner eats plant based and couldn’t enjoy it. We were never able to resolve it because the waitress was a very busy woman, never stopping to ask us if we needed anything. The chunky gauc turned out to be guac ingredients, just not mashed. We went ahead and took care of that ourselves.
I got the quesadilla fajita with shrimp. It was good. My partner ordered a plain bean burrito with lettuce. His lettuce didn’t arrive for quite some time so I shared mine. Eventually she showed up with it and we waved it off. It did make an appearance on the bill which we had to get removed.
Sadly, the sequels almost always disappoint but this wont deter me from trying the original if I ever pass by it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I have never had better wings anywhere else. I go here so often that they must be getting tired of seeing me but i cant seem to stay away. I suggest being the Morelia Salad or the buffalo tenders; you wont be disappointed.

First off, 10 wings and a special 3 lunch was 48-49 dollars that’s with 1 strawberry margarita and a Long Island ice tea. Secondly we both ate our food I could not finish the boneless wings they looked old and gave me an upset stomach my husband at his special and he also has a stomach ache…. Not recommended. service was fine an the seating too
