We came for an early dinner on a Sunday. Guess what! They have happy hour all day on Sundays! We tried 7 different menu items and our bill came to $78. What a great deal! We tried: Buffalo chicken egg roll, blackened salmon taco, mini nachos (we did steak and chicken), the Ruben slider, and the Cajun salmon dinner entree. We also tried the margaritas. Now, I will say the margaritas were too sweet, but the food was phenomenal. We loved everything we tried. The service was also incredible. We will

You know, I’m not much for pub style restaurants, but…this place has it going on. Located in a neighborhood setting, it is a favorite among nearby residents, and they even welcome outsiders like us! The place is super casual and it’s spacious. A full bar and open kitchen adds to the atmosphere, but not as much as the black and white photo montages featuring iconic scenes from your favorite U.S. city. And if you’re into comfort food like gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers…well you can’t go wrong at Metropolitan. Oh and bring friends because the booths are Huge!!

I have always loved the atmosphere here and very happy it’s been around for as long as it has. The staff has always been on point, never a single bad experience over the past 7 years I have been coming here. The same goes for the food. Some meals have been good but not out of this world great however I have a 5 star for food because they nailed it on my salmon! It’s rare that I find a salmon so perfectly cooked.

We hit this place to see a buddy’s band play 3 to 4 times a year. It is a great place, very comfortable and a good spot to getdrinks and food. We had a group of 6 this last time. Servive was GREAT! Food was decent. The question and chips were OK, the queso was average. I had the buffalo egg rolls which were average as well. I heard the walnut salad was great. All good, just not great. But we will beback again without a doubt!

Cool spot in the DTC! And great prices for happy hour! Gabby was an awesome server and was very attentive… Got a lil of everything… Really good green chili on the green chili fries and Chile relleno. Carnitas taco was good. Buffalo chicken egg roll could have been a bit crispier. Great blueberry mule. Used to Texas Twinkies having brisket but these are basically jalapeño poppers with BBQ sauce but good. Bunch of daily specials

Wish we had this place at home!! We had just arrived from Kansas City & got checked into our hotel, super hungry. Found this place super close & there was no wait when we arrived, about 3:30/4pm on a Thursday. Staff was friendly, food was good! They have great happy hour menu too. Wish we could go back! My only thing is that the pop was flat but that’s fine. The food was great & they have outdoor seating options.

We are in Denver for a business conference and decided to take a short stroll from the hotel for a light meal and stumbled upon Metropolitan Bar & Grill.
Being from Florida, we chose to sit outside and enjoy the non-oppressive weather.
Service was pretty good, friendly and kept our beverages full. Menu was rather diverse and had us torn between a few different options. Food came out pretty quick and frankly was delicious.
We painfully had to issue a one star deduction for the general dinning area. While it’s decorated quite nicely, it was cluttered as heck. The hostess stand had menu’s piled up high, they had staff rolling silverware at the table as you walked in, and things just looked generally disheveled. It wasn’t dirty or anything, but the first impression as we walked in was meh. Otherwise the place was awesome.

Staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. Has a neighborhood eats kind of feel. Food is good. You can cut the fried chicken with a fork it’s so tender. Would definitely go here again.

Went to see a friend play in the band and had dinner. First time there. Kinda hard to find as it’s nestled in with a big apartment complex.
Called for reservations and got a great booth right in front of the band which was amazing.
Dinner, blackened salmon was perfect. Husband had a juicy burger and crispy fries. Prices were reasonable as well.
All in all it was a very nice dinner with a fantastic band. Essence of jazz is their name.
