We had a great dining experience for two here as our first time. The staff seated us promptly and the waitress was very kind and knowledgeable.
The atmosphere was nice, clean, and bright. They were proactively spot cleaning the windows to ensure its shine and all glass and tables. They were not waiting for it all to look a certain way before doing something about it. They care about their business.
We had the Feta Burger and cream of Brocolli soup.
He absolutely loved his fries and burger while I found the soup, creamy and just right.
We will definitely return.
They have a wide dessert selection of cookies, cakes, and pies, etc.

Surprisingly I didn’t take pics. But food was good and you get a lot so bring your appetite. My husband and I both got burgers and it comes with a cup of soup, fries and coleslaw. I also ordered a drink with my dinner, believe it was a special Cranberry Paloma. Our waitress was amazing. If we are ever in the area again definitely will return.

I just ordered from Metropolis the Big Boy breakfast. Holy cow! The toast was big the eggs were perfect and the bacon sausage and ham were huge and thick! It was not a normal breakfast sandwich. It was a gourmet meal! Delicious ! And just so enjoyable! It also came with fries ! It was plentiful and perfect!

The food came out strong right away with the chef’s special chicken parm pizza. Crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor, it set the tone for the rest of the meal. The calamari was cooked well and not greasy, and the buffalo chicken dip was extra cheesy with just the right amount of heat. The Big Drew fries were loaded and perfect for sharing, while the teriyaki tidbits were sweet, savory, and packed with flavor.
For mains, the salmon Greco was a standout and easily one of our favorites of the night. The tavern flatbread with chicken cutlets over a Greek salad was another great choice, offering a nice balance of fresh and hearty.
Dessert did not disappoint. The strawberry martini was smooth and refreshing, the house made Oreo cheesecake was rich and creamy, and the brownie milkshake made with a homemade brownie was indulgent in the best way.
Service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance felt lively and comfortable, making it an easy place to settle in and enjoy a full spread. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience with a lot of variety on the menu.

Not my usual diner because it’s a bit out of the way from where we live but we went here last night and it was very good. Food was good and so was the service. Was happy to receive complimentary pasta salad and bread basket. Diner bread baskets seem to be a thing of the past so that was a nice surprise. This diner was incredibly clean, and one of the managers or maybe owner (idk) was actively telling employees what he wanted to see cleaned up next which was a great thing to overhear. Overall nothing bad to say. We will be back. Everything was wonderful.

Wow this place rocks the food scrumptious I really loved my French onion soup…best I’ve ever had..ordered a deluxe cheese burger with crispy French fries the cole slaw was delicious the burger cooked perfectly and the brioche bun really made it over the top!!

I ordered a Cheeseburger deluxe for takeout. It was cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious and onion rings were nice and crispy. However, I didn’t get one packet of ketchup. To say the least after spending $30 and giving a tip.

1st time here, just googled “diner near me” this came up, headed on over, saw they did some holiday painting on the windows, which means to me they care to spend a few bucks for the holiday season, I parked! Walked in to a nicely decorated, newly updated space, was sat at a super sized booth. Waitress, ordered, food came, food was great! Mission accomplished Metropolis still going strong!! Good for them!
