For the price we paid, the quality did not match in the slightest. Bread was alright, meat was so chewy and too big of pieces, and the peppers and onions tasted off. Here’s what really gets me though: I don’t mind a middling meal sometimes, not everything can knock your socks off. What you don’t do is lie directly to your customers faces. I asked them how big their subs were , they told me the large was 12 inches. Once he handed it to me I instantly knew it was small and once we got home we found out it was just under 10! Why go out of your way to lie to your customers faces about two inches of sub? Would have been down to give them another go in the future but this is just pathetic really. Phat phillies is a mile down the road and really represents the community far better than this place. Do not recommend.

We stopped by the Mother Road Market for lunch while in Tulsa recently and I decided to eat at Metropolis Cheesesteaks since the food looked great and I hadn’t had a cheesesteak in a while.
The lady who took my order was really friendly and gave some great menu suggestions. I got a large cheesesteak along with an order of the Philly fries. Yes, I definitely over ordered as you can tell by the photo but everything was fantastic! The cheesesteak meat was seasoned well, the cheese was melty, overall a great sandwich! The fries however, are a bit of a ripoff for the price. I expected a bit more than this for $11. But they still tasted good and were fried to perfection.
Other than this, this was a great experience. If I end up back in Tulsa again and I come to MRM, I’ll eat here again!

For our first experience at Mother Road Market, we chose Metropolis. The philly cheesesteak with cheese whiz was delicious and perfectly portioned. The philly cheesesteak fries had quite a bit more fries than toppings, and seemed much saltier of a dish. The north end cannoli was a nice finish to the meal! We will be back!

A Chicago Italian Beef & NY stye Frankfurter. The quality of the meat for both sandwiches are delicious. It’s not exactly a spot on Italian Beef but pretty damn close especially w the giardiniera. The NY Frankfurter was satisfying but was my first time for a non Chicago style hotdog! Polite workers behind the counter. Will definitely hit this place up again!

Mother Road Market is the shizznit!!! I’ve dashed thru here a few times, but haven’t had a chance until today to just stroll around the beautifully designed and decorated building and settle on just 1 thing to eat! This place is truly amazing!!! The site, the smells, the people, the sheer ambience!!!! What a thrill for all the senses!!! I had the most phenomenal cheese steak with pastrami and portabella mushrooms!!!! Mmmmmmmmm!!! Get on down here if you haven’t!!! I even heard that a lot of restaurants got their start right here on rte 66!!!

Ordered a large and small cheesesteak with exact same toppings. Asked about the difference in sized to ensure I understood I was getting enough food for my family. I looked in the bag and thought it looked like 2 cheesesteaks that were the same size so went back to the counter to ensure our order was correct and he weighed the sandwiches and ensured us the order was confirmed by the correct weight. When I got home I had two sandwiches, the same size, one with the toppings and one cheesesteak with no toppings. When I called to speak to the manager, there was only voicemail. Very disappointing….
