Metropolis is a casual full service restaurant with fresh local ingredients being used in an internationally inspired menu. Salads, sandwiches, soups, pizzas, and unique entrees populate the menu with delicious options. We have a full bar and very extensive wine list. We also have a beautiful patio that is right next to a fountain in the center of the gorgeous and lush Optima Camelview. Open for bunch, lunch, and dinner. Price is around $14 per person without drinks.

Went on a weekday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. Ordered a tomato soup and wraps. Wraps were decent and tomato soup is extremely salty. Salad that came with it is light and delicious. Service is just ok. It’s just one person who is working and gets the job done. Highlight is the price and ambiance. It’s fantastic to sit outside especially at night. Everything is reasonably priced for a location like this. Use inKind to make it even better. Would go in again with friends and try some other items.

This is such a hidden gem with the best service!! Our server was Ursala, she was so kind and personable and even took the time to ask us how we like our espresso martinis. Coming from a espresso martini enthusiast, not many servers/bartenders ask how I like them made. Food was AMAZING, I would totally recommend getting the fries with the garlic and herb spice. They have super cute outdoor seating options, and the atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxed. Come check this place out!

Interesting format as they’re was one server running the bar and outside seating. We opted to sit outside as the weather was nice, but the tables around us didn’t look like they’d been cleared for a while. Bloody Mary i ordered was forgettable and the Napoli chicken sandwich I was very dry and unseasoned. The saving grace was the menu is reasonably priced for Scottsdale, so I didn’t feel completely taken. Can’t say it’s return, too many better options in the area.
P.S.: don’t pay to swap fries for a salad on sandwiches, $3 for like 6 fries.

I found it by accident and it was a fortunate one! Located in a newer metro living complex we had to drive around it a couple of times. Parking was easy and after a short walk under a well-shaded area we found Metropolis. Small place with a good looking bar and an awesome menu. It has a very eclectic menu which gave us many options to please us. I had the honey ginger shrimp platter with Asian slaw. I liked it but found it too sweet. Shrimps were enormous. Ron had mac’n cheese with meatballs. I tasted his mac and preferred it to my dish. Our friend had the pork bowl and devoured the whole thing! We also shared a caprese salad. I liked it but l was again overwhelmed by its sweetness as it was covered with a balsamic glaze. I still give it a five star for their creativity, diversity and service and l will return to try other dishes.

Not sure what the deal was with the server tonight, but we suspected she was on something. She had a hard time remembering anything and there was only one other table in the restaurant. We went to the bartender to take our order. Good food, cool place and you can bring your dog. Just the one server kind of spoiled it, but we all have bad days sometimes.

We had friends in town from Vegas and Sun City West and ALL parties decided on Metropolis. It was amazing but the decisions were arbitrary.
The MAJOR challenge that we encountered was locating the place. We were in separate cars, traveling at separate times but had the same GPS Challenges.
Our car arrived first, so we had a chance to look around and absorb the ombience. It was a Saturday afternoon brunch and our waitress was ‘HAZEL.’ She was amazing throughout our long stay. Once we start talking, well, it was a while before we left but everyone employed by the restaurant remained polite and professional.
At times Metropolis became crowded and the atmosphere became more joyous.
All of us ordered different meals, so we had a chance to view, and taste, numerous preparations. The plates are large and the food was impeccable.
My wife and I plan on returning soon, so that we can have a nice meal and walk across the street to the mall to relax. We highly recommend Metropolis if you want to spend a relaxing day in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Service: pretty good.
Parking: was able to find parking in the parking garage for free and a short walk to the restaurant.
Food: pretty good. I really enjoyed the chickpea curry and the jade honey ginger shrimp was pretty good, but didn’t have many shrimp. Boyfriend got the gnocchi and the cheesy corn casserole which he liked, but he realized he ordered far too much cheese with those two dishes.

Perfect lunch spot for locals and wage slaves in the area. Everyday a great meal special at a very low price. Enjoyed one of the best burgers I’ve had in years today, easily. Just solid from properly cooked to buttered/toasted buns.
Great beer and wine selection. Eclectic and appetizing menu.
The bartendress was very friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere lends itself to a fantastic intimate and chill dinner date or small group of friends. Good music to top it off.

Got the tacos and margaritas special they were fantastic definitely come back on a Tuesday, also will definitely come back for something else because the menu looks bomb diggity, highly recommend the humus appetizer.
