Our server, Rylee, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The pricing was very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise considering the quality of the food and service.
Highly recommend this spot – we’ll definitely be back!
I placed my pickup order at 11:48 AM with an estimated pickup time of 12:05 PM. When I arrived at the restaurant, I informed staff that I was there for curbside pickup and was told, “Okay, it will be right out.” Keep in mind I’m parked directly infront of restaurant on the side.
After 13 minutes with no update, I called the restaurant. I was told my order was not even ready yet and that it would be another 5–10 minutes. I agreed and clearly described my car make, model, and color, (there are no designated curbside pickup spots, I was parked along the front of the restaurant where I could be easily seen without obstructing traffic.)
After waiting another 17 minutes, watching the same customers enter and exit, At that point, I moved my car into an open front parking spot so I could still be clearly visible. No one came out. I called a third time. I was again told someone would be coming out. At that point, I moved my car immediately back to the front so I could still be clearly visible. No one came out.
After an additional 5 minutes, I finally had to get out of my car and go inside. There were only two people waiting, one of whom I had seen earlier when I first arrived. When I asked for my order, the staff member looked around and then found my food sitting on a table, already prepared. By this point, I had been waiting nearly an hour.
I asked if the receipt timestamp could be updated to reflect when the food was actually completed or handed to me, but I was told that wasn’t possible. I then spoke with the manager, Courtney, who said she had come outside and didn’t see me. She mentioned looking for a burgundy car, which I personally saw arrive and leave—yet I had described my car multiple times during my calls, and my phone number was on the bag. This felt dismissive and honestly gaslighting, given how proactive I had been.
To make matters worse, when I got home:
My fruity waffle had no fruit
My bowl was burnt
I am very understanding when it comes to wait times—but communication and accuracy matter. If the wait was going to be close to an hour, I should have been told that. With today’s technology and systems, there is no reason for such a disconnect or lack of updates.
This entire experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and disappointing. I could have used that time productively, and instead I left feeling ignored and unheard. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in a long time. I have screenshots of times I called and expected pick up time and time I went in to actually grab my food which was 12:47pm.
However, today was awful!!! 2 in my party got beef tips… tough and could not eat. My meatloaf was burned
That was bad enough, but everything took forever. Other than getting our drink order then food order, Mikayla never came to our table, never checked on us, never talked.
Tables seated after us were served first. All we ordered were sandwiches, beef tips, and meatloaf. A table that ordered fried chicken (which I figure takes 20-30 min) were served/finished before we got our food.
Why doesn`t Mikayla check back, talk, ask how everything is, apologize when the meal is a flop.
So, it wasn`t just bad food, she is not a good server. We left minimal tips and I figure it was more than what was deserved.
The coffee was good, and the food was great. Everything was cooked great including crispy hash browns, light and fluffy French toast, and fresh great eggs.
Portions were perfect and a great value.
Everyone loved their breakfast. Portions were enough for another meal. Kids meal was huge. A second breakfast the next day for our four year old.
Water was large cups for the table – even though we ordered coffee as well. Service was fast. Meal came relatively fast for a full diner.
You won’t be disappointed!
It will be a while before we go back.
