My wife Jean Roldan and I spent the day in Brandon shopping for cars, and after a long day at the dealership, we were more than ready for a great meal. We stopped at Metro Diner in Brandon, Florida, and wow — the food did not disappoint! I ordered the country fried turkey plate topped with white sausage gravy, chose broccoli instead of green beans, and enjoyed it with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. The turkey was perfectly fried turkey breast and absolutely delicious. I also added a side of creamy macaroni and cheese, which was the perfect comfort food. My wife had the fried chicken and waffles with their house-made strawberry butter, and she loved every bite. The staff was phenomenal and made us feel truly welcome. We both left full and happy, and I can’t wait to go back. If you’re in the Brandon area, I highly recommend this place! Our server Vivian was very good.

It was our first time here. They definitely didn’t disappoint. I got the avocado scrambled egg bowl amazing. We also ordered cinnamon roll pancakes make your tongue slap your eyebrows. Our server Kiana was absolutely phenomenal. If you go there ask for her she takes extra care of you. We will be going back. Metro diner 5 stars aren’t enough

Great food and wonderful service. The wait wasn’t long, and the menu has several options. Our meals were hot and fresh, and plated beautifully. Kiana was the absolute bomb! I highly recommend Metro Diner Brandon at 1901 Lumsden. Exceptional service and the food is phenomenal. The staff here are fantastic. Visited on Jan 30th for dinner. Thank you to our wonderful server, Shannon for the excellent service and recommendations. We had the fried chicken & waffles, the breakfast burger, and an unsweet peach flavored tea. The strawberry butter for the waffle was unbelievable. Love the Specials Board, which included additional items not on the menu. Can’t wait to come back to try the chicken pot pie and strawberry shortcake bread pudding.

BRUH………….I have been to this place 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I am NOT a little dude, so know that I AM telling the truth. The first time I came, I was unsure of what to order…until a big, chonky plate of CHICKEN & WAFFLES passed by my table. Spicy syrup, strawberry butter, HALF A CHICKEN (NO joke, LITERALLY spoken) and a light, crispy, tasty waffle. The chicken was flawlessly fried to the perfect temp. Juicy, crispy, tasty……PERFECT. I wanted to rub my FACE in it, it was so good. The 2nd time I came, I had the Fish & Chips. 2 large golden fried fish filets, and a mound of fries. Topped it all off with the absolute BEST KEY LIME PIE I have ever eaten. I take my KLP VERY seriously, I have eaten KLP in Key West…..WHERE IT ORIGINATED, and wasn’t as impressed as I was at Metro Diner. The 3rd time, was today. Almost no wait, seated quickly. Our waitress (i am so sorry, but i did not get your name, Miss) was johnny-on-the-spot with our drinks, and service. I was gonna order something different…….until 3 plates of Chicken & Waffles drifted by my table…..again. Plus, I was able to get it with chicken TENDERS in lieu of bone chicken!!! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! FORREST, you are THE MAN, your crew is awesome, your food is fantastic, and we will DEFINITELY be back.

The place was very crowded. I thought I would have a long wait. I was seated within 10 minutes.
Table service was excellent. I was assisted with the menu another was taken entirely promptly. I enjoyed the omelet, bacon, toast and coffee. Rudy(server) was pleasant and made certain the breakfast was fine. He frequently checked to make sure our wants were taken care of. The vibe of the diner was friendly, casual and relaxing.

My husband and I were doing some errands in the area so we decided to try out the new Metro Diner in Brandon! It was very good and the food was delicious! Quick and easy! Waiter was very nice and happy to be there! My husband does visit the original Metro Diner in Jacksonville while he works in the area! Glad to see that it’s going well!
