1st time there and I’ll deff b bk!! Sooo many food options to try out. I meant to get a dessert too, but I got side tracked. Sooo filling. That chicken was super juicy and fried perfectly!! I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, add lettuce. I was NOT disappointed!! My bestie got the meatloaf, he devoured his whole plate.

Went here yesterday for breakfast. Everything was amazing from start to finish. I was quickly seated and my waiter was very helpful. I had the mimosa flight and I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles is enough for 2 people! That strawberry butter was every bit of amazing! I would definitely recommend bc the amount of food for the price is outstanding. I will be back to try other items.

I visited for dinner and had the delicious shrimp and grits. I’ve had this dish at other Metro Diners but it has a slightly different (better) taste than the other locations. The same is true with the Meat Lovers Bowl. My compliments to the kitchen.
My server, Judy, was awesome. She is very welcoming, treats customers like they are family and is always smiling. You can tell that she enjoys her work and cares whether her customers are having a good or a great eating experience. She gives great recommendations for take-home meals and really hit it out of the park with suggesting the ribs. They were wonderful the next day and will definitely be a repeat item for me.

Me and my family went on a Saturday around 1:00 PM. We were greeted and seated quickly. The staff is very friendly and the food was good. We will definitely become regulars here.

I’ve been to a Metro in Matthews which is where I have first became fond of the diner and was elated that we got one near us.
I have always appreciated the quality of the food and today was no different. All the food looks fresh. Tastes great! And comes out looking the way you’d expect it to.
Also, there is something for everyone here whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a plethora of options and every different category. So no matter whether you want breakfast waffles or a salad and soup or meatloaf fish and chips, and burgers This is the place for you.
I really enjoyed our waitress today, however felt like she could have been a little bit more attentive. Other than that she was really great and she handled a decent size group which is not always easy.

had such a great experience thanks to Sarah! She welcomed us right away and made us feel taken care of from the start. She recommended the chicken and waffles, and it was a perfect choice. Our drinks stayed full, and she was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. She truly made our visit enjoyable!

Excellent little spot. Took my kids and they loved the chocolate chip waffles and chicken tenders. Oh and the cake of course. So nice to see a place with a hefty gluten free menu, makes it easier for my family.

The service was awesome and the quality of the food exceptional. Some of us ordered the Cheeseburger. It was cooked to perfection and the meat was larger than the bun, which I loved. We went for lunch but one member of our group ordered breakfast. She said it was delicious. Don’t forget the appetizers. We ordered the cheese curds which were amazing! I highly recommend this dinner!
