We are from out of town and ate here for brunch. All the food was so good. The fried chicken was one of the best we’ve had. Fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Service was great and the food came out quick. Definitely a place to frequent when in town!

My family went here last night for the first time, we had the fish fry, chicken sandwich, hamburger, meat lovers omelet and a kids chicken tenders meal, the food was ok. The bottom buns on the burger and chicken sandwich were hard, which made the sandwiches a little hard to eat. My husband’s omelet was cold but he said it tasted ok. My mom ordered the fish, the portion was a good size but she said it was ok. We had a really nice waiter named Matt, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We went about 5:30, we got a table right away, it started getting busier when we were eating.

This place blew me away. I got the roasted turkey plate and my partner got the fish and chips. We were both stunned by how good the food was, down to the gravy being rich and savory. My turkey was some of the best I’ve ever had. Even the stuffing was great and I don’t usually love stuffing! On top of the excellent food, our server Danielle was wonderful. They were attentive, friendly, and super communicative. We were also impressed with the menu; it has a fantastic selection without being overwhelmingly long. So excited to come back here soon!

This time we went for dinner.
I had the chicken pot pie. OMG! The best I’ve ever had. It was made from scratch and was so savory and delicious. Even my home made isn’t as good as this was!
My husband had the baked meat loaf.
He couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. Mashed potatoes on the bottom, Mac & cheese on the top.
They were busy and the waitress was so fast and friendly. She was pouring water with one hand and carrying dirty dishes with the other.
No one to bus tables, I assume.I admired her energy, courtesy and balance!
We will be back frequently and recommend for everyone to try METRO DINER .

My sister & I decided to try a new place & chose The Metro Diner. Everything start to finish was such a great experience, we went back for breakfast the next morning.
We were made to feel like they were happy to have us there; service was spot-on; food was delicious with very generous portions. This is very likely to become one of our favorites spots to grab a bite to eat.

We came into the metro diner for lunch. We’ve had breakfast but this was our first time for lunch. My wife ordered the club sandwich, which was huge. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious. Our waitress Teraisha aka (Ray) was wonderful and pleasant. The manager even came to our table to see how everything was. It was great food, great service. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes.

My family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) joined for the training/soft opening. The food was delicious and served quickly. Our server, Jessica, was very very kind and attentive. The chicken was very well seasoned, the croissant French toast was very rich and filling with a prominent cinnamon flavor. The salmon rice bowl is not the best I’ve ever had, but it is a solid option for a patron who may be there with family and doesn’t want typical diner fare. It isn’t heavily seasoned, but the salmon was cooked well and the sauce was good. The rice is mixed with veggies. The waffles were tall, fluffy, and had a golden brown thin crisp on the outside. The strawberry butter had a subtle strawberry flavor, and was great with the waffles and the French toast. The sides of fruit were fresh and very nice, though primarily composed of cantaloupe and honeydew. The fries could use more seasoning, but they seasoning on them tasted nice. I will probably ask for extra seasoning next time.
All in all, my family and I really enjoyed our meal and will be back in the future.
