We ordered 4 dishes between us to share. Everything was great. Service was also great. Food came out pretty quick but it seemed like it was still freshly cooked. Our server Noah was great and answered all our questions and was spot on with the refills. Will definitely be back to try out the other menu items.

We recently visited the new Metro Diner on Percival Road in Columbia, and it did not disappoint.
For our meals, we ordered the Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans and the Fish and Chips with a Caesar salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The meatloaf was hearty and flavorful, and the sides were perfectly prepared. The fish and chips were crispy and fresh, and the Caesar salad paired nicely with the meal.
Our server, Denia, took great care of us and made the experience even better with her friendly and attentive service.
One thing we quickly realized is that the menu has so many great options that you simply can’t try everything in one visit.
Metro Diner is known for classic American comfort food and diner favorites served throughout the day, and the menu definitely reflects that variety.
This is definitely a place you’ll want to visit again and again to work your way through the menu. If you’re in the Columbia area, it’s well worth the stop!

Great experience enjoying Metro Diner for the first time! After church we ventured to the diner, got on the waitlist and got seated by gracious staff. Monique was our server, and our food was great! I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak w/ fries, my daughter enjoyed the burger bowl, and my husband like his breakfast plate + he liked the biscuits & gravy. We will be back. Here’s to Metro Diner being a great option for great food. Nice atmosphere too!

The ambiance is really cool I can see this place being one that you come to where everybody knows your name and their always glad you came.
The portions for the price I thought was honest and fare. Speaking of portions they were big! We had leftovers for another time.

The prices are very reasonable and the service was outstanding! The place was packed and a 15 minute wait turned in barely a 5 minute wait instead. The portion sizes for breakfast were very respectable! We didn’t walk away hungry or poor! Highly recommended!!
