We really enjoyed eating here. We thought the food was good. They have a lot of wonderful options on the menu. They have this crazy grilled bacon and tomato cheese sandwich that happens to be the bun for a burger. They also have daily lunch specials and flavored coffee. The coffee was definitely not our most favorite portion of the experience. I don’t want to say it’s trash but they lost a star on account of the coffee. The food was also a bit more oily than I’d prefer but not enough to ruin the experience. The service was decent. Nothing to complain about nor was there anything to write home about.

We were excited to go to Metro for our second time. The fist time was in Bensalem. This time we went to the new Metro on Street and Jacksonville. The food would have been really good if it was hot, but sadly it was not. I have to be honest about the inside of this place. It is rather small inside and I felt like I was sitting on top of everyone else. There was also a CONSTANT parade of people walking all around us. People working there, people coming, people leaving, literally I felt surrounded the whole time I was there. It reminded me of being at a bar on happy hour after work on a Friday when everyone is there. The sound was similar to a bar atmosphere as well, very loud. So even though the food was pretty good the atmosphere is not pleasant at all.
I had a specialty burger (pictured) that was sandwiched between grilled cheese with bacon….very good, probably even better hot. My wife had a regular burger (pictured) and my son had the three egg special with hash browns, toast and bacon (pictured). Again all good but served room temperature.
It is definitely worth trying. We will be going back because we have money left on a gift card. Lol. Cold food and being constantly surrounded by people is not a nice relaxing family meal.

Metro dinner was okay. We went for breakfast. First off, the service was very good. They used digital pads to take the order, very efficient, quick and the food came out without any problems. The food was okay. I had the biscuits and gravy, which were good but not the best. I did not like the eggs. The cheese grits, were not cheese grits. They were just a grits like substitute with a slice of cheese placed on top. I have relatives in South Carolina, so I know cheese grits. The food was just bland, nothing awful, but not amazing either. I will come back to try their lunch/dinner menu. But overall so far, its just a 3 out of 5 due to the food. Place was clean, nice layout and again, service was great.

Food was good. 4 stars if it would’ve been a full waffle. (I subbed pancakes for a waffle) It’s cool though. (Update 1/19/18 meatloaf plate was phenomenal) 5 stars for the dinner

This was our first time to this location. We have visited the other location further down Street Road and have yet to find anything on the menu we do not like. For this visit we sat at the counter and watch the chaotic yet organized kitchen. The various chefs and staff never stopped moving. They were pack and had a line of people out the door, but the food was delivered fast and hot. The turkey platter was reminiscent of a Thanksgiving dinner and the Holy Divoli will put you into a food coma(in a good way).

I can’t say for sure but I understand this is a chain or franchise restaurant, that being said this exceeded my expectations. They had something I had never heard of before, strawberry butter and it was as good as it sounds. The portions are enormous as is the American fashion but in this instance even more so. The chicken and waffles comes with a half of a chicken. Quality was top notch.

Food was unbelievable especially considering how low the bar is set for diners in the area. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken and waffles.

Went for the first time this morning. Busy but well organized. Told the wait was 20 minutes was seated in 15. Didn’t know what to expect. Have been disappointed with many local dinners. This place was great. Coffee was fresh brewed. Service was friendly and professional. The pancakes were unbelievable. The homemade corned beef hash was outstanding. Used the restroom before I left and it was clean and well supplied. Will be back again soon
