This place is an absolute gem to have found. The service as soon as we walked in the door was top notch. Morgan our server was just the most friendly and super helpful as I am a difficult person sometimes. I would give them 1million stars out of 10 and recommend everyone eat here! Thank you Metro Diner we are customers for life now.

Best diner in Central Pennsylvania. It is always awesome. Today I got the Meat Lovers Omelet and my wife got the Eggs Benedict. Chicken & waffles is also excellent as is the chicken salad sandwich. I could go on and on, everything on the menu is excellent! Morgan was our waitress today and she along with the other servers are the best in town. The owner is always there in the kitchen, making sure everything is done perfectly. The only negative is that it’s often crowded, but then again it’s obvious why. Try it out if you haven’t already and you will start coming weekly!

Normally a go to place for us. But today for first time Fish Fry Friday was really disappointing. The fish was very greasy and think it had been refried from lunchtime and got the cup of chicken noodle soup but it had no flavor at all was a $2 add on not worth it. Club was good as usual. The Maple Bacon Bread Pudding was Outstanding should have gotten two orders. Laura our server was busy with several tables but was still outstanding and attentive. Would have complained about the fish and soup but had Granddaughter with us and well always in a rush…but will think twice on fish which before has always been fresh crispy and flaky.

One of our favorite finds on the pike. We’ve been in a few times, and been delighted with each meal. We got the cinnamon roll pancakes, a bold city burger, and two eggs with hash brown and toast with a side of bacon. Oh and how could we forget three peach iced teas! Brooke was very pleasant, and our orders seemed to be out to us as soon as we put them in. We’ll be back again for some chicken and waffles 🙂

UPDATE: So, hopefully the Management sees this and makes some changes!…The last 2 times we’ve been in for dinner the Service/Wait Staff has been terrible! We received our orders wrong twice and insisted that I was the one that made the mistake. I find this to be ridiculous, due to the fact that they a POS system…the first time I ordered the fried chicken platter with fries insteadof mashed potatoes, this must have confused them because I got Chicken fingers…they insisted that that’s what I ordered. I made them take it back. Last night I ordered a Caesar salad with my burgerand fries and it didn’t come out until i was almost finished with my dinner, I had the take the salad back to the kitchen…we noticed all around us that people were getting wrong orders…This really can’t be that difficult, they only have 2-3 tables each…and it wasn’t busy at all, I can see why! The wait Staff and Servers are standing around on their phones or chatting most of the time…we received no drink refills during dinner both times…What happened to the great service and What happened to Candy, she was the the best waitress you guys ever had…We will not be back for a while and hopefully you can get this straightened out… We were weekly customers until now!

Stopped here from out of town. Got the veggie omelette, cinnamon roll pancakes, and chicken and waffles. All of it was great..the portion sizes are gigantic too. The wait staff was nice and welcoming..the layout was nice, the tables aren’t too close to each other. I’d come again if back in the area.

This is a great place to go. We were there for lunch. I got the Chicken Salad and it was delicious. No one had anything bad to say about there food. The waffles are huge. You can tell the owner/ manager takes great pride in this place as he stopped to talk with us when we were done eating. The staff was friendly. Very clean and we will go back again.
