Really good food! Tried first time crab cake and soft crab. And those were so good! I really recommend to stop here. Also the service was good.

Great seafood stop on your way through the area. They buy from local fishermen so their seafood is always fresh, not smelly like some places. If it smells, it’s NOT fresh & time to leave! I enjoy the soft shell crab & crab cake platter, they’re not stingy on the fries or hush puppies. Prices seem to always rise, so grab it while you can afford it….lol. Service is always great & the owners care about their customers. There are tables outside to sit & eat your grub or simply take it with you. Nice to support a mini local seafood spot that deserves a try!

Cool little spot! The lady was very friendly, and helpful. They did not have a bushel of oysters for sale, but they had plenty of other fresh seafood. Grabbed some shrimp and fries for lunch… Tasty!

We were traveling from Maryland back home to VA, so i did a google search for seafood. This place was promising based on the reviews. I don’t know how this place has good reviews. The food was average at best. I gave 2 stars because the shrimp and hush puppies were okay. The flounder was bland and tasted old. The crabcake was small, mushy and definitely didn’t have any decent crab meat in it. I dont know if it was filler or maybe claw meat but it was terrible. We threw most of our food in the trash. Wasted almost $50. If you love fresh, seasoned, GOOD seafood, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Looks can be deceiving. Be sure to stop in if you are passing through. Bare bones place, order at counter and eat outside. Excellent fried oysters and soft shells, dusted in corn and cracker meal plan and fresh fried. The definitely change their fryer oil often – no rancid or dark oil taste.

Hush puppies, slaw and crinkle cut fries come with all platters, all tasty! Only thing we didn’t like so much was the crab cake: very fine shredded meat, little on the fishy side.Cold drinks in cans/bottle in cooler, and Dessert is a candy counter. Great lunch stop or carry out. Fresh seafood also available, reasonable prices.

What a great road trip to have some fried seafood!! The food was so fresh. We got seafood platters, fish and chips and a fried shrimp basket. The place is nice and small and only outdoor picnic bench seating. They give u plenty of tarter sauce and ketchup to dip your crispy fries and even crispier seafood.. my favorites were the fish and the shrimp and the soft shell crab and I cant forget the hush puppies. I definitely recommend if you or in the area or traveling through..

The soft shell crab sandwich was stellar. They were very generous with the crab, too. Fresh, not too heavily battered and seasoned perfectly. Add a little mayo and hot sauce to the bun and I savored every bite!

My family and I passed this place on our way to VA Beach from NJ.. I love a good, unsuspecting seafood spot but we couldn’t stop at the time.

On the way back home, I made sure we did. I only wished I tried more items!

10/10

Basic no frills type of seafood spot. Most, if not all the seafood is fried. The crab cakes are decent but I prefer them pan fried and with more lump crab meat. If you’re eating there you’ll have to deal with the flies. All seating is outside. There is no indoor seating.
