Family-run joint serving up burgers, hand-cut fries & malts in a low-key setting.

1st visit was not good. To start with “only onion rings and regular fries” were available since they apparently only had 1 small fryer operating. No biggie, I’ll just get cheese fries…the fries were soggy and undercooked and black! Everyone knows when you leave potatoes out they turn dark, these clearly had been out for a long time. Hint, place in water with a few drops of lemon to avoid them oxidizing. They should know this as long as they have been in business. Aside from the appearance, zero salt, zero flavor.
My cheeseburger, they prepared it as ordered except put a mound of soaking wet pickles on the bottom bun creating a nasty soggy mess when I got home. Ended up having to eat an open face burger. I could only stomach half before I had to toss the rest. My wife’s burger didn’t come with any mayo.
Strawberry shake was ok, but I wasn’t sure if it was Strawberry or cherry due to the chemical aftertaste.
Staff was nice and courteous.
I will give this place 1 more try but it might be a while.

Delicious! And reasonable prices too! Nowadays, it can be difficult to find a good place to eat without breaking the bank. As soon as you walk through the doors of Meteor burger you are travel back in time to a simpler and less expensive period. (without compromising flavor). The burger I ordered was more than feeling, accompanied by a chocolate malt to wash everything down. The fries were crispy and fresh, as well as the green bean fries and corn nuggets. Of course, the wait staff were friendly and more than willing to help with any requests. I highly recommend this joint for a quick bite to eat or an old fashioned date with your honey. Not too mention, the decor will also help transport you back in time where good food was not hard to find.

“Mediocre Hamburgers” is more of a fitting title to what we received last night. This was an Uber Eats order that was 10 miles from home. Separate to nearly all food being cold on arrival, burgers were extremely underwhelming. They prepared them to specs via choices/extras ordered but the toppings were better than the (overcooked/extremely well done) actual burgers-not off to a great start. Tried a couple hot dogs thinking our contingency plan would at least be there should the burgers be a bust and they were some of the worst I’ve had in YEARS. How hard is it to mess up a hot dog? Cold, flavorless, and no substance whatsoever. At this point, we had fries at least right? Nope. You can get better tasting, and better quality fries from nearly any fast food restaurant in the adjacent towns. Should this be a 1-star? Yes, but I gave them a small bump for at least preparing orders to selections made. Save your money, go somewhere else.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long. The name is something that always caught my eye when I would drive by going back home. The restaurant has a throw back feel with the atmosphere and decor, RC Cola and moon pies. They have some menu items that not many other places may have. The peanut butter burger is one of them. It’s different but definitely works together. You have two 100% beef patties with cheddar cheese and PB as the spread and you add bacon! The PB gives it a salty nutty flavor that pairs really well with the meat and cheese. The service was a little slow but honestly on a Saturday night durning dinner it wasn’t that bad of a wait and it was worth it. The shakes are also something to try. The blue mango shake has a tropical flavor kick you can’t find else where. This is a must try place!
Mask were all worn at the time of visit, employees and fellow patrons as well. Social distancing was followed. I recommend if anyone wants to venture out.

Classic style burger joint with a quirky attitude. Delicious, ample burgers cooked to order with a creative variety of custom styles. Fresh-made homestyle fries are the perfect compliment, and Fry bar features Cajun spice, seasoning, yellow peppers and more. Also, features veggie, turkey, and chicken sandwiches, as well as sweet potato fries and fried onions.Bottled and fountain sodas available but try their milkshakes! Friendly, helpful staff rounds out this great experience. Bonus- They also appear to be very supportive of their community.

Wow! Not sure about the reviews on takeout, but the food dinning in was delicious! French fries and onion rings were really good. I had the peanut butter burger with bacon and cheese!!! To finish off, we had some milk shakes! 5 stars!

The toppings and sauce are not spread evenly in their burgers. The bun is definitely a key player and I notice the sweetness coming from it more compared to other burgers. The patties were cooked to order and overall the taste isn’t bad. Their burgers don’t lean too heavily towards diner style or smashburger umami. Too much bun and not enough flavor for my taste. I would prefer Rodeo Goat, Twisted Root, Ford’s Garage, Burger Island, or even Burger Hut for less bun. Not bad by any means. (Yes, I ate all three of these burgers back to back… i’m not playing any games when it comes to burgers)

Very nice atmosphere. I appreciate the signs and old memorabilia on the walls. My 2 year son loves the grilled cheese sandwiches. The lemonade is DELICIOUS ! they have bottled soft drinks as well. The shakes are delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentively always making sure we love everything. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger ad added bbq sauce. FANTASTIC flavor. The grilled onions inside made it sweet and tangy. The fries are always hot, crispy and fresh. The burgers always steaming even after coming to the table. Even the bathroom is clean and well organized. We will come back again.
