I was pleasantly surprised by this buffet restaurant. Great service, great food selection and a wide variety! There was some down home cooking and even a little Mexican food! The shrimp and sushi were fresh and delicious! Very reasonable pricing, and an attentive wait staff! I will be back in the future!

Went for an impromptu dinner. And, pleasantly surprised. Good variety on the salad bar, desserts, appetizers and entrees. A chef awaits to cook singular steaks to order and teriyaki dishes. Wait staff and others keep the buffet fresh and clean. Will return!

Normally, I would not leave a review if it’s not favorable. However, this time I’m sharing my experience. I contacted Meteor Buffet on 10/5 and requested a reservation for a group of 20 on the following Sunday 10/12. The young man indicated that it would not be a problem and they would provide my family a private room. (The dinner was a memorial celebration for my late mom’s birthday). The young man took my name and phone number and confirmed the time. Upon arrival yesterday, I checked in and was immediately informed the space was not available. First, the manager (I’m assuming) stated that they do not allow reserved spaces on Sundays. At the point management realized a space had been reserved for a Sunday, they should’ve contacted me. Her explanation was he didn’t know. However, she knew beforehand, because she stated a conversation was had about it. Then, she stated that another group who had contacted the day before had also reserved space. I’m honestly not sure which one it was. Then, she went on to state that they would allow my family a section that “normally seats up to 65” and would not allow anyone after 2p. Our reservation was 1:30p. There were people already seated in the area she offered, but she stated after they left, we could remain and no one else would be allowed after 2p. As a business owner myself, I understood the math when she said it. However, being that it was not our fault we were offered something that wasn’t available, I figured that was her way of at least trying to right the wrong. I reluctantly agreed. 2p rolls around, and she comes back apologizing and saying they were going to need the space to seat other customers. The server then comes to clean off the tables they’d left dirty after the previous customers left. So basically from about 1:40-2p, tables were left dirty around the space we were eating. Now, on to the food. The food was warm at best. Then my cousin ended up vomiting at the restaurant and just updated me this morning that once she made it home, it got worse. I’ve had a stomach cramp since last night and my brother also just notified me this morning that he had a bad experience from last night leading into this morning. The fact that three of us have ended up with food poisoning is what has led me to leave this review. I chose this establishment for the convenience of my family who live in that area, but Never Again! Had it not been the fact that it was a group of us, I would have left when the situation started with the reservation. No decency to contact me before yesterday to let me know there was an issue with the room I was told was being reserved. The service was terrible (other than the server and the cashier) and the food has caused an issue. I will definitely be monitoring the situation with the illnesses bc there is no doubt it was caused by the food we had there. Most likely the sesame chicken. In any case, I will NEVER be back and DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Newly remodeled and outfitted with new buffets, this restaurant is a must visit and one you will want to include in your regular rotation. The service is great and the food is really tasty and there are always unique items on the buffet.

Man this place was amazing. The outside looks a tad inconspicuous but don’t let that deter you. I’ve been to many Asian style buffets but this one was especially memorable and good. Like really good, exceptionally good! The usual assortment of Asian food is present and it was prepared better than any other restaurant I’ve been too. To compound things they make some amazing southern food too. The fried chicken and Mac and cheese was on point! Aside from the food the service was fast and good. They were very attentive for being a buffet. I highly recommend you try this place and give the love cakes a try, I cannot get enough of those things.

I have been here many times over the years and the food quality and restaurant cleanliness has gone downhill. I recently ate there and felt like I got food poisoning as soon as I left the parking lot. The buffet counters are dirty and the food appears to sit out under a warmer for hours. I will not be back as there are better buffet options around town.

The dishes here are very rich and taste very good! The owner is very nice, and the green vegetables from his own farm are supplied to the restaurants here. And the price is very cheap. This is the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever had!
