The best tacos!! They come with handmade tortillas that smell wonderful and taste even better, the people who work here are very friendly and super attentive, professional and helpful. We had tacos al pastor, carne enchilada and steak as well as a burrito that were very flavorful and seasoned, and had an agua de jamaica super flavorful, the portions are big with great prices. Definitely a go to place and will definitely return!

I Love ordering from here! I always order through uber eats and they never fail to make my food look so appealing, Fresh, delicious, savory, YOU NAME IT! I love how accommodating they are when it comes to special requests. This is definitely my go to spot. When I dine-In, they’re very kind and professional. It feels like a family oriented environment. 100000/10 ! I came here in person to try it out, originally going to order on uber eats but i thought let me just see in person. Food was great, loved the birria. the hot sauce also wasn’t too spicy it was the perfect level of spice My husband ordered the nachos with tinga (which we haven’t liked from any other restaurant) and we loved it! Metate #2 is just what Yonkers needed authentic Mexican food that is always fresh and taste incredible! The only thing better than the food is the customer service. I placed an order and the can of soda was accidentally left out I called and told them they forgot the can of Sprite it wasn’t an issue at all it was sent right out to me without any hassle. They are very polite and accommodating to they’re costumers. The food is fresh and flavorful. My go to is the steak burrito and the loaded steak tacos absolutely incredible! If you on the fence about ordering from Metate #2 don’t be place an order and experience this Yonkers gem for yourself. They take credit, debit, and cash upon delivery making it extremely convenient. I know Metate #2 will be around for years to come. You can find them here or on UberEats do yourself a favor and place your order now! Metate #2 is top notch they get across the board.
