⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Met Cafe & Bar (JW Marriott Marquis Miami — 2nd Floor)

We had such a great experience at the Met Cafe & Bar located on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. This ended up being one of our favorite places to relax, grab food, and enjoy the atmosphere while staying at the hotel. We watched sports on the televisions while eating and it made the entire experience even more enjoyable — perfect place to unwind without needing to go off property.

I absolutely LOVED the buffalo chicken pizza — highly recommended! I actually ordered it two days in a row because it was that good LOL. The flavor was perfect, the crust was great, and it’s definitely a must-try item.

The seating is extremely comfortable, and they even have a mini bar area with a cozy setup that makes it feel more intimate and relaxing rather than overly crowded or loud. The environment is warm, stylish, and the service was very friendly and prompt. It’s the perfect blend of casual comfort with a touch of luxury given it’s inside such a beautiful hotel.

Whether you’re grabbing a bite, having a drink before heading back to your room, or just hanging out watching the game, Met Cafe & Bar is surprisingly one of those hidden gems inside the hotel that you’ll be happy you found. Highly recommend stopping in!

I may be delirius with hunger from a long flight, but everything was delicious! Started with a crab cake and a Mai Tai – then some pasta for the kids and the chicken. Finished it off with the lava cake and the cheesecake. Everything was so yummy and our server was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Recommend for sure!

Very nice bar! Happy hour is a good deal for cocktails. Got the spicy margarita and asked for it to be extra spicy which the bartender made happen.

We are staying at the JW Marriott Marquis. We located the Met on the second floor and were greeted by a friendly hostess. The service at the Met was great along with being nice and clean. Super friendly staff and I really enjoyed the server’s suggestions. My wife had a very tasty tomato based vegetable soup and I had the chicken soup which had a lot of chicken. My wife’s main course was the cheese quesadilla with guacamole which she enjoyed. I had the delicious New Orleans shrimp (3 large sized blackened shrimp) and sausage over linguini that had tons of flavor. We really enjoyed everything. As a bonus, the restrooms are right outside of the entrance.

We were staying at the hotel and wanted some lunch and we figured we tried this spot. Our waiter Samuel not only made me of the best mojitos (I KNOW my mojitos) but also provide ample information about the food. We had their special wings, the crab cab, the ribs and the Philly Cheesesteak. Everything was delicious! Next time we are in town, we have a cool spot to come back to!

Not at all what I expected. The food was mediocre. The service was not rude, but not welcoming either. The kicker was the undisclosed “service fee” that showed up on the bill. Bad form.

This bar, located on 2nd floor of Marriott Marquis, was not busy at all during the two times I stopped by. At the hour I visited, the only customers were those of us seated at the bar. The service at the bar is very friendly and attentive. A well-stocked liquor line was appreciated.
My suggestion would be to make sure someone is at, or near, the host podium to help entice those walking by to actually go in by being available to answer questions and verify the location is actually open for business.

Food and service were both very sub par. My sweet potato hash was boiled (or microwaved) vegetables. It was not appetizing at all.
The meals took a long time and cost a lot of money. Go to McDonalds before eating here.

Very slow, lunchtime service.

Which is surprising, because most people seem like they are in a hurry or going to business meetings. They gave us a $42 food credit per day and two drinks so we’re trying to use it but not worth it if we have to sit around and wait an hour just to get a meal. Still waiting for food.

I spent the weekend and I stayed at the JW went to have a couple of drinks and appetizers at Met Cafe and the atmosphere and the service that Carla and Samuel provided me was amazing. I will definitely be back to dine again in Met cafe.
